DCL scrapbook Pages??

Great link Buckeye Girl - thanks for sharing.

Jeanne, my pages are all digital. I originally started as a traditional scrapbooker many many years ago but a few years back I switched to all digital.

Of course I would love to have your jpeg! What program do you use? Years ago (BK before kids) I was into digital graphic arts. But as my oldest is now 15, that was many many moons ago and the software has changed tremendously. I have never scrapped in my life, but I have all the equipment, including a Cricut machine! I just haven't committed myself enough or something.

I am so envious of those of you who do! Your pages are great.

I'm happy to share the pirate page background to anyone that wants it, but I don't know of a way to send an attachment through the disboards. So, you need to PM (private message) me an email address that I can send an email with the jpg as an attachment to you. I promise to keep you email address private as I hope you will keep mine also.

As to how I did it, I just scanned in the menu, actually only the top portion, the darn thing is quite large. Then I used Microsoft Digital Image Pro to remove the menu items (words) I didn't want. Then I saved it as a jpg and could use it as a background to add my own text and pictures. Good thing it was pretty easy, because I had to do it twice. After I had promised it to some dis members I realized I couldn't find the original one I had done, so I re-did it quickly! :lmao:

I did my pirate page similar to yours ... promise, I never saw yours before I did mine. I did mine in the summer of 2006 so not sure who did theirs 1st. Mine is "traditional" scrapbooking though. Here's mine.

Love everyone's layouts, thanks for sharing!:)

CUTE! I love your pages! I did mine in 2005 right after our cruise, but I'm sure there are LOTS of scrappers that have done this way before us.. ;) I like how you cut out elements that you wanted to use.
