Joe, the hammock shot is fantastic, but I do have one question. Were you the first one off the ship? I can't believe you were able to get this shot without "stuff" all over the hammocks!

Thanks! The picture was taken around 11am. I don't remember what time they let people off the ship... but we weren't one of the first off by any means. I was suprised to see no one or nothing in the hammocks as well...

I just love looking at all of the pictures. However, lvstitch what was falling during the tree lighting?

I have a Sony Cyber shot, 12 X optical Zoom, and I have a setting on mine called "ISO" It shoots without the flash in low light to reduce the blur. Heres a few pics from it. These were taken from about 1/2 way up the seating so I had to zoom in also.

1100am uhh?? Thats a pretty nice picture that was matted/framed and ID'd at the bottom as being from Disney Cruise line in 2007. Maybe even a post card? It is a nice picture though.

i manually adjust the shutter speed - taking multiple shots at different speeds so i can pick the right one. the lighting makes it difficult sometimes. a spotlight on one actor can leave them overexposed while the rest of the cast is in the dark.

Those pictures look great! My camera has a bracketing feature--do you think that will help? What is a good starting point for shutter speed?

Thanks!
