We're in!! Very excited but need the holidays to get it organized.

It will be a birthday cruise party for me!!!

Packages will be mailed in time to arrive before your party date. Check your free party site regularly for news on what's in your package, when it's been shipped, and when you can expect it to arrive.

Meanwhile, don't forget to use the free Guest Manager tool to manage your invite list.

Use it to send invitations via email so your guests can join your online site when they RSVP. Don't have their email address? No problem -- use the print option, or just create a name-only record for them so they still appear on your party list.

And while you're online, be sure to check out and upload fun photos and videos, post comments to the national party blog, and look around for other cool features.

I got picked!

This is all new to me. I'm hoping people will share their ideas so I can generate some of my own.

I've been on 3 Disney cruises and have a ton of pictures. I think I'll make my own DVD with pictures from my cruises set to music. I can show that at the party.

Looking forward to reading what others are doing!

Very sorry for those of you that where not.

I would really like to go to one that wasn't so far away!! I can see driving 1/2 hour away but can't do 1 hour there and 1 hour back my DH won't go for that. I called and talked with some friends and they said the same thing too far to drive for it.

I don't know for sure but I think your invite will bring you to a site just for you that are picked and someone already said they filled out there invites. So read your email again and follow it. That should help you go to the next step.
Don't forget to let us not choosen ones know what cool things you all are doing!!

I'd love to hear from other hosts what you're planning to do at your party so I can get my creative juices flowing.

This could also be a place to ask questions, share your experiences if you've hosted other house parties, etc.

One thing I'll be doing is making a DVD of pics from my past cruises set to music and show it at the party.

We were picked as well! My father and I filled out the application together and we're ready (I think he was going to hold one even if we weren't picked).

I have several thousand pictures from our past DCL cruises and plan to have them as a continuous slide show on our laptop. My dh is going to download several songs Disney plays onboard (Hey Baby, Pump It, Cha Cha Slide, etc.) Our ds6 and ds10 want to show their friends the Sail Away dances they have learned from cast members dancing to the above songs. They also want to set up all their cruise toys and stuffed characters around the party areas. We plan on playing the DCL dvd, some video footage from past cruises and just speak to our family and friends about how much we love cruising with Disney. We have several friends borderline about booking and hope to convince them to go ahead and book. We have friends that have booked but not yet gone on DCL and plan to answer any questions, give some hints about what to expect, etc. I have several scrap books I also plan to have out for people to look through. We'll have tons of food and drinks and will put out anything Disney happens to send our way too.
