"DCL Klondike Kruisers" - August 23, 2011 PART 2

How exciting. I was hoping they would do Europe again next summer. But it looks like we will have to someone else take us!!

No kidding. I think we're going to do it the old fashioned way without a ship. I'm at work trying to pass time and trying to figure out what would be a feasible itinerary for a 2-week visit.

We were stationed in Germany for 4 years( a long time ago). We did a lot of traveling. But we were young and broke. We are going for Christmas to see our youngest. He is now stationed in Germany. I want to go back in the summer and do a Med cruise. I want to see more of Italy. I have been once on a double decker bus form Germany!! There is just so much to see over there. We need to win the lottery and have more vacation time!!!!

I have not gotten mine yet. I can not wait to see it. I have to get my summe things out this weekend and see if any of it fits. We will be at WDW in two weeks. I am looking forward to it but am hesitant because DMI is going and I am not sure how that will work. She shoud get out of the hospital on Monday and that will give her time to get herself ready to go.

Well made the final payment, so now it's time to really get excited and start planning.

Woke up to snow this morning which makes me wonder why I'm going to see Glaciers for my summer holidays instead of going somewhere hot, but I can't wait to see all the increadible scenery in person.

We were at Sembach from 86-90, but lived in Vogelweh. Dh is at Ramstein. He is single so his assignment is only 2 years.

Well, I mentioned it on facebook too, but we had to cancel. We were looking forward to it more than you know. We may end up going to Vancouver in July on a much cheaper vacation, but don't know yet. You guys have fun. On August 23rd I'll be very jealous.

I would like to hear all about the D23. We hae debated about joining and it would be nice to talk to someone who has.

Let me know what you want to know. I'm a charter year member. Just couldn't say no. Unfortunately, I have too many vacations planned to take advantage of the fun opportunities they have. Plus a lot of them take place on the west coast and that's a bit of a hike for me. In the two years I've been a member, I've only been able to do one D23 event in the past two years. It just happened that my September vacation was planned when they did the final ride of Star Tours. Really looking forward to the Expo this year.

Had a busy day. We had to take Nancy Dad to the hospital today. He should only have to be in there a couple of days we hope.
We were in the ER 7hrs before he got a room.
Hi Jenn how are things in OOB?
We also were looking at D-23. We will have to hear more about it .
I see Mom and Dad will be celebrating an anniv onboard. Nancy and I will be celebrating our 44 next month.

Ok Mrs L how was the Jimmy B concert? loved that picture of Roger on FB.

Hope nancy's Dad gets better soon. We had a busy weekend. I played 7 holes of golf yesterday. My first outing after she released me. The surgery did not improve my putting. I am sorry to hear people have had to cancel. We will be in WDW in two weeks. Can not wait. I actually drove into the office today. It is the first time I have been in in 6 weeks and there is a lot of new people. I had to dust my desk off.
