Oh dear! I never thought I would be anything but happy to log on to VMK, but yesterday and today have made me rethink that.
My DC times have been between 10 and 20 minutes. I've cleared cookies and done everything I know of, so I don't think it's my computer. I don't have time to talk with friends before a game of fireworks or HM and still get all the way through the game. I can't play 3 pirate games in a row, and it usually takes more than that for me to get my rhythm.
VMK has just lost a huge chunk of the magic for me ,when I can't stay connected for more than 20 min. Yes, yes, you can refresh and try to plan for it, but the time goes so fast when you are talking with friends, or playing the games, and especially when you are trying to build rooms, that I often am just plain booted before I remember to hit F5.
Okay, sorry for the rant. It's just that if VMK started out this way, I would never have gotten this far, I probably would have checked out long ago.I used to be able to be on VMK for an hour or more at a time. When I first started playing, I don't ever recall getting disconnected. I still heart all my DIS VMK friends, but I'm greatful that I got to know most of you before the shortened DC times, because it sure makes it more difficult to make friends now.
Hope I get to at least 'wave' to you all next time I'm in VMK!
