DC Magic has started to evaporate my joy in VMK

Between the "hang" when I wait to see if I DC and the sometimes 10 minutes it takes to log in, yesterday (Sunday) I spent more time offline than online while playing VMK. There were two exceptions periods where I was able to play for once just over and once just under 30 minutes.

For a few hours every time I went into the Dance Music Room VMK would crash. The actual black and white crash screen is making it's appearance more and more lately.

I know why Disney when with Shockwave but I think it VMK is just too much for it. I have played MMORP (Lineage) where there are no single screen rooms but rather huge maps where thousands of people are playing on the same map at the same time. I've been involved in castle sieges where there are more than a hundred of people on the screen at a time, with just as many a screen's walk away. I've played this game for 2, 4, sometimes 8 hours at a time and rarely, if ever, get disconnected. Granted this involves a program being installed on your computer and takes up a bit of space, but their is less of a system demand as it doesn't all live in memory.

I don't know if the root of the problem is on the client (user) end or the server side... but something is VERY wrong and needs to be fixed as it is not working correctly.

Thank you so much for posting this. I would gladly install some files onto my computer if it meant the game would run more smoothly. I really do hope that they are working on correcting this problem as its just getting worse and worse. I would love it if more people with experience playing online Multiplayer games and those with actual tech knowledge and experience would write in to VMK with their concerns and maybe some suggestions. I can say that in my house my kids (who fall in their so called target audience ages) tire very quickly of the dc and pretty much just walk away after about twice. There are lots of other things that attract their attention and don't dish up frustration the way VMK does too often for them. My son just discovered "Nicktroplis" yesterday. Its the same format as VMK and he didn't have any technical difficulties while playing. I just think that VMK is becoming a poor representation of Disney because of shoddy technical performance which I'm sure can be addressed. I would rather go without new items until this problem can be fixed if thats what it would take.
