Days Suites Maingate East

Our family of 4 is planning its first trip to Orlando for October. We'd like to save money on the hotel since we don't expect to be there very much. Days Inn Suites has offered us great prices for a suite with full kitchen ($57.95/night). We don't need many ammenities, however, we don't want to wake up with bug bites from dirty beds or slimy bathrooms. Has anyone stayed here? Is Days Suites separate from Days Inn? Are the entrances to the suites inside a secure area or from the parking lot? Is the shuttle reliable or should be rent a car if we want to do both WDW and USF? Any advice would be great.

If you are not in the room very much, it might be o.k. we stayed there 2 years ago and I hated it. The 2 beds in the back bedroom were clean, but what I did not like was the big sliding glass door was in that room and it backs out to the parking lot. This was the room my kids were in and we were in the front room, which was seperated by the kitchen. The kitchen area is fine, but you have to rent the utensils. The pool area is a dump. The couch in the front room we would not sit on until we covered it with a blanket. Sorry for an honest opinion, but I wish someone had of told me before I rented it

How about the Holiday Inn Kidsuites (Maingate E)?
Anyone know...are they clean..
What about the Holiday Inn Family Suites in BV..
They are more $$$ then the Maingate East but I
think they are newer and larger with full hot Breakfast for all.....emmmmm
Pricewise the Maingate is sooo reasonable...but, is it nice and is it clean? Thanks
