Dattilo (Lucas Horton), Mary Beth Evans (Kayla Johnson), Patsy Pease (Kimberly Brady), Melissa Reeves (Jennifer) and Lisa Trusel (Melissa Anderson).

I don't understand why Carrie is coming back??

It will be great to see Mike and Lucas and Jennifer. I find it sad that they won't brinig someone in to play Bill. I can't believe he would his mom and brother funeral

Sorkin Back to DAYS
Soap Opera Digest has learned that fan favorite Arleen Sorkin, who appeared as DAYS's Calliope from 1984 to 1990, and made brief returns in 1992 and February, 2006, will be back in May for a short run. "They just called me and asked if I wanted to do it!" she says. "I didn't really let it register, but now it's real! My dialogue? That I ever remembered lines is unbelievable! I emailed Leann [Hunley, Anna] and said, 'You have to work with me. My brain is Teflon.' " She reports to the set today, March 8.

Dr. Baker is Back!
Ruh roh. Looks like more trouble for Nicole Walker Roberts Kiriakis DiMera (Arianne Zucker) once she gets out of the clink. Sources say John Callahan is back on set at Days of Our Lives this week reprising the role of Dr. Baker, the sinister physician who helped Nikki switch Sami (Alison Sweeney) and Mia's (Taylor Sprietler) babies. Look for this stint to be a bit lengthier, according to one mole.

SOD:Adrienne Returns!

Adrienne is back in Salem and Justin is very surprised to see his ex. “Hope calls her and tells her Justin is in trouble,” previews Judi. “Although they were divorced by mail, she will always care very deeply for Justin and she comes back to help him, but he has no idea why she’s back. Then she finds out that Hope lied to her (in the hopes of reuniting Justin and Adrienne), so she feels truly humiliated.”

When Hope arrives at the mansion, she is blasted by Justin and Adrienne. Judi says, “She and Hope are friends and have always been friends, so it’s a little awkward.” Adrienne wants to let Hope know that she should take care of what’s going on in her own house and leave Adrienne’s house alone.

Adrienne then realizes that Justin loves Hope. “She’s completely crushed,” sighs Judi. “But she can’t blame him – their divorced; he has to move on, too. But they raised four kids together and they’ve been together their whole lives. She came back, maybe even to see if they could repair at least what friendship they had. I think there’s part of her that misses being Mrs.”

'DAYS' Favorite Set to Return
Charles Shaughnessy will be reprising his role as Shane Donovan on Days of Our Lives. Shaughnessy previously reprised his role as the debonair ISA agent in 2002.
According to TVGuidemagazine.com Shaughnessy will be involved in a 10 or so episodes that could possibly expand into more. Shaughnessy begins taping March 22, 2010 and he will begin airing within the next few months.

News of Shaughnessy's return coincides with the news that Peter Reckell will be on a two month hiatus from the show.

"Days of Our Lives" airs Weekdays on NBC. Weeknights on SOAPnet. Check local listings. "DAYS" now also airs online at NBC.com and can be accessed 24/7.

OMG! How fun!!! I will love seeing all these old characters! Every time my DD's and I watch The Nanny on Nick at Nite, I can't help thinking he really belongs on Days.
What about Eugene? let's get him too!

I may be the only one but I kinda like Bo and Carly together. They need to quit making her so down and serious all the time. She used to be a fun character.

Calliope and Eugene Reunion on DAYS?
With Arleen Sorkin returning as the zany Calliope Jones, is it only a matter of time before John deLancie, her longtime partner in frolic and fun, returns as the equally zany Eugene Bradford? "Well, they want him back, but he's very busy," reveals Sorkin, who's kept in touch with deLancie over the years. "He's got a lot going on. Hopefully, they'll get him." Indeed, deLancie has enjoyed great success in film and prime-time since exiting daytime in 1989; most notably his seven year run on STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION.

Calliope, Adrienne, and Shane! Wow! I am so excited!

Can I just tell you how absolutely beyond excited I am to hear the my all time favorite soap character is returning? Calliope is my hero. I named my cats, Calliope, Eugene and Geneva (after a character she played on another show The cat just passed away three months ago at the incredible age of 23). I wanted to have a wedding gown with twinkling lights in the skirt (my DM's better judgement prevailed). I read this post then did a little dance of joy then rushed out to get the SOD so I could read it for myself. And Shayne too? This is just wonderful news.

I really hope that they don't put Chloe with Phillip. She seems more mature than him, and worldly. He just seems like a spoiled little rich boy who just returned from college. I don't know why but he annoys me lately. Chloe and Daniel have some great story to be played if they continue down the infertility path. There is so much that can be told about that which is rarely discussed on soaps.

Aridrenne was on today. She is looking good. Not sure how or what story line she will be in? She didn't seem to want Justin back and vise versa.

Not liking Natan's hair that way either. I think Days needs a new hair person....

Plus have time to get her hair done. While poor Anna is still stuck on a plane.

The only thing I have been liking lately is Victor and is one liners.

The rest of the storylines are so boring. They better pick it up soon. Been doing a lot of fast forwarding though Bo/Carly/Hope/Justin , even Brady and Ari but watched today because Nicole was confronting him.

I love Anna I hope she stays for a while. It is really hard to get Bonnie out of your head when you see Adrienne. I think she will be around for a while. I know she will be there for Alice funeral
