Days Inn Duty Free Park & Fly deal

I just booked the Peace Bridge Duty Free park & fly package at the Days Inn for our upcoming trip. The confirmation email says to stop at the Duty Free to pick up our confirmation package. I'm sure I've read comments here that stopping for this isn't necessary. Can anyone who's booked this deal confirm that for me? Thanks!

The last time I booked that deal was a little over a year ago and at that time it was not necessary to stop and get the package. I had been told to stop and pick it up though....I forgot and it was totally fine.

BTW, if you have never stayed at the Days Inn don't expect much.

We just had to confirm with a credit card. The confirmation email says it's cancellable up to 4:00 pm on our arrival day.

Nope, we're just looking for a bed. Our flight is at 5:45 am, so we won't be there for long!

We stayed on this deal in late August for the 5th or 6th time. You don't have to pick up the certificate, you can just check in.
Days Inn is basic but has always been clean and quiet for us so far. It definitely does the trick. $75 USD gets us a room for an early flight , free breakfast in the morning , and up to two weeks parking.
