Preferred Airlines

I’m in Pittsburgh and plan to stick with SW, they have the most non-stops to MCO. None of the majors have non-stops. I have the Priority card, so I get 1 free bag and preferred seats at purchase. I did take a look at Spirit on my recent trip and times were non convenient, early departure and late night return.

I think you mean non of the “legacy” carriers have nonstops.

Another Team BDL member here. Our go to airline to MCO has changed over the past few years. For a while it was Spirit --- yah, cue the detractors ------ but we always flew in the Big Front Seat and it was great. However after the JetBlue merger died, they cut almost all flight from BDL. We would look at SW or JB, but SW was usually cheaper so we went with them. We have a house in Orlando so bags are never an issue to MCO.

The big three (AA, DL, UA) don't go nonstop to MCO and their pricing is usually never attractive from BDL.

Not too fond of the SW changes and their credit card changes, We will probably downgraded to the cheapest card when our renewal is up. For the future we are moving towards no airline or hotel specific cards and will pick one of the big four card families (Citi, Capital One, Chase, Amex).
