Daycare or school setting

we are booked for Feb 5 th 2017 for WDW. We took our 7 yr old autistic boy and the family to an amusement park and he didn't do so well. He is non verbal and his way of communicating can be aggressive. Anyways, I am looking to see what Orlando has to offer for a daycare center for autism. They don't want to do Nathanials hope respite care because it moves from church to church. A school setting, structure, expertise and special needs acceptance. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Autism on the seas used to do respite and guided orlando trips at Disney World.

Have you thought of in room care instead of day care? A one on one sitter for the length of stay in a stable environment might work better then a day care. I would bring his favorite games, toys, movies and a few new items that he might enjoy. You will also be closer then if you take him off property a 15-20min cab ride away verses 15-20min just to get off property. Most if not all resorts have a play ground and all have a pool for additional activities.

Actually, AotS is a travel agency that plans vacations for families dealing with autism, both with or without their own staff. Much of their offerings are cruises, but they do offer WDW trips as well as some other destinations.

Now, beyond the info on their website, I can't vouch for their services. But it may be worth making contact to find out more.
