Day of FP+ Release... What time?

Is it true that they are releasing FP the day of and if so what time. Is it midnight just like the 30,60 day windows? Here now and changed our plans to stop by DHS later this week. All the TSM are gone but hoping to score one the day of.

I've never heard of them releasing extra FP+ day of a certain time. From what I read it's more like luck if you happen upon one if someone cancels.

Day-of FP+ releases was discontinued, to the best of my knowledge, when the ability to book a 4th+ was introduced.
