Hi...
Just a question about the actual size of the day beds in the deluxe resorts. How big are they actually ? Would a 150 pound, 5 ft 9 in, 16 year old be comfortable on them ? Is it like sleeping on a couch or does it fold out like a futon ? Are they larger than those trundle beds at Dixie Landings ? Can u tell I have no experience with day beds
Thanks !

It varies from resort to resort.

The daybeds at the Polynesian are the size of twin beds basically--they might be a twitch narrower. The daybeds at the BC, AKL, and GF are about the same as the Poly. The daybeds at the BWI are shorter.

All of them are longer than the trundles.

My 5'10" son chose to sleep in the daybed at the Poly rather than the queen so he could watch the colors changing on the castle as he went to sleep. He found it VERY comfy, and he sleeps in a double bed at home!

Thanks so much Anne.....this put my mind at ease. We're thinking of Y&B Club so we can have use of SAB. I think the daybed sounds perfect for my son.

I agree. The daybeds at the Poly, Contemporary, and YC are all large enough. They sure seemed larger than the trundles at POR.
