Davy's in Wonderland! The TR of a little boy's dream!

Hi Jenn! I'm just poppin' in to say "HI!" and let you know that I'm subbed! Your family is beautiful. Disney at Halloween looks fantastic! I LOVE the Mickey tie dye!! That's just adorable, and I'm gonna have to figure out how to make those for my kids I think!

Oh, I'm sold on it. Maybe I'll get lucky and the schools will have a some days off next year... and I can convince my wife.

You so have to go! Its really cool! Convince her with all the great pics that are on the Dis!! It starts in Sept and they even have one the day after Halloween. Even if you just went for the weekend- it would be worth it for the memories. :goodvibes

The tie dyes are really neat. I am going to have to try it again with a better brand of dye. The directions are on here somewhere! This is where I got the idea. I get lots of my neato Disney ideas from the Dis. My DH thinks I am crazy sometimes, but it's well worth it! :lmao:

Great TR, i'm loving it! So sorry about the Nana's broken foot, that's terrible. What a thing to have happen at Disney!

Can't wait to hear about Davy's first birthday at Disney World! He is quite the cutey. And I was excited to hear that MNSSHP was your surprise. I enjoyed the pictures cause we are going to our first MNSSHP this september!!!

Im still here! I love the parade pictures. Hopefully your next day isnt as bad as it seems

Yeah! More readers- I love you all!! :goodvibes
The whole trip was great- don't get me wrong, we just had some minorly big snafus along the way! He loved all of his first birthday party extravaganza- including Nana's necessary/evil scooter! :lmao:

The Halloween party is the bomb!!!!! You will have so much fun! Just have a plan before you go in! Do you want to trick or treat? Or see the characters? Or go on the rides with no lines? You can do all three, but remember- its only a 4 hour party (or 5, whatever- point being- time flies when you are having fun at the party!). We did a little of all of it, but didn't see to many characters, even though they have the rarer ones out those nights. The kids wanted candy more than autographs that day (night). And the lines were LONG unless you got there very early for the special ones- Cinderella's carriage, haunted mansion pic with ghosts, snow White and all 7 Dwarves, etc.

Well worth the $50 extra ticket!!! The parade was very cool and not to be missed!

And Davy says thank you! He is my sweetie! :lovestruc

I know this has nothing to do with my TR, but here are some cute pics from our Easter Egg Hunt and Breakfast with the Bunny himself yesterday!!! I thought they were great and the kids had a blast.

When we first got to the breakfast, they got ears and an Easter bucket! Later they got to decorate their bucket and got grass for it and some eggs! All this was done at the mall- they are Kidgets members and get to do some cool stuff throughout the year.

Ok- whiny baby alert- gotta go for now.... will post more later!

Alright- Kids are in bed and DH is off to work, so I can finish posting my Easter Egg-stravaganza day pictures. We have two more egg hunts planned, and its not even Easter yet! The kids are really having fun this year. Davy just figured out what the eggs are, so he keeps trying to get them all now- he wants the candy!! :lmao:

At the mall thing- they got to make paper egg lanterns, get their faces painted or a balloon animal (Davy got a sword) and they got their buckets and stuff. All free for kidgets members!! Parents paid $2 to attend each, but got breakfast too and coffee. The kids were very happy with the doughnuts and muffins and stuff, along with their Capri Suns. :goodvibes

Both DD and DS had a wonderful time at both events. I love finding community stuff like this that is free. It helps my slim wallet and amuses the kids. We have another egg hunt planned for Good Friday and one for the Saturday too. Gotta decide which one to do Saturday-

Should we do the Dinosaur egg hunt at Fernbank Museum or the egg hunt at the Mall of GA? That is the question. The mall one is of course free, while the museum one would be cool - but cost money. hmmmm :confused3

Aww looks like there having a blast!! Davy will be a pro egg catcher this year!!!!

I believe he already is! I just caught him "stealing" his sister's Easter basket full of eggs! :rotfl2: I think he was just gearing up for this weekend. Yeah, that's it-It has nothing to do with the yummy candy in all the brightly colored eggs! :lmao:

Have lots going on around here lately. I will attempt to post Davy's Birthday in the MK sometime this week. It was a great day and Davy had lots of fun!
:goodvibes I hope I remember enough of the details of that day. It's kinda fuzzy right now when I try to think..... hmmmm :confused3 I remember lots up to this point- Why would this day go fuzzy of all of them- I really hope the pics help!!

The egg hunt pics are great! Looks like the kids had a blast, and lots of candy. So many easter egg hunts...so little time! The dinosaur egg hunt sounds fun though! Get some pics if you hit that one!

Can't wait to hear about Davy's big numero uno in MK!!:cool1:

Got another Easter egg hunt tomorrow!!! :thumbsup2 We are so busy right now- I don't know when I will get to Davy's Birthday on here. Gotta upload the pics and write my stuff..... maybe I will upload now!

Today was a very special day- Davy's First Birthday!!!! :cool1: He got a few presents while we were here. Not too much because we didn't want to lug it all home, but he got some cool stuff. His favorite of course, was a cheap plastic lawn mower! He still loves that thing even now, with its two missing wheels (he keeps taking them off and putting them back on :confused3).

Waiting on pics to upload now..............................................

Ok! Here's a pic of Davy getting his birthday prince crown! And a pic of him opening his very first birthday present ever!!!

Today's plans were going to the MK and having a birthday lunch! And watching nana nearly kill others while riding her scooter..... :lmao:

I went to pick up her scooter at the luggage center and got to ride it back- I loved it!!!! It was great! Man, if I ever break my foot- I am sooo getting one! It was great to drive and easy too. Or so I thought.... Nana on the other hand, was horrible at driving that thing!

We got to the MK with relatively few problems.... Nana nearly killing herself trying to get the scooter on the bus was slightly amusing. Ok, really it was funny as hell and I will never let her live it down! Excuse my French, but it was funny! She rammed that thing into the bus wall so hard I think she can still feel it! DH got the joy of parking the thing for her on the bus every time after that. Poor DH.....

We went in and immediately went to Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin- Davy loved it! Aleks was in heaven! Nana was whiny. They had her park her scooter way far away from where she had to load onto the ride and didn't tell her. It was bad, but it was well made up for- they let us ride twice!!! (For some reason, Nana wasn't as thrilled as us by this situation- Nana isn't really a ride person I guess).

After that, John and Aleks went to Stitch's Great Escape. Davy wasn't big enough and Nana had no desire to escape with Stitch, so we went on the Carousel of Progress. No one else was on it and it has A/C!! It rocked our world! Davy could scream and yell and no one cared. When we got off, we saw some friends!

Then we met back up with DH and DD and went to Cinderella's Carousel. I think Davy had died and gone to heaven!!! He was soooo happy! Even the CM was like "Wow! He is so ready to go huh?" Davy was bouncing up and down on his horse and laughing and smiling. Aleks had been on the carousel before and many others, but Davy had never been on one. It is now his favorite ride when we go anywhere. My only problem- the ride wasn't nearly long enough!!!

Ok! To bed I go for now.... Next up will be more rides and Davy's Birthday lunch!

I love the update!! Seeing the carousel and you mentioning one time was not enough reminded me of yesterday when I took my nephew to the zoo and he had to ride the carousel THREE times in a row!! :lmao: Only got a way with number four by saying we will go to the train in a little bit!!

Your kids are so cute! Can't wait to read more!!

Thank you thank you! He now loves any carousel!! He likes the one at the mall a LOT! We have to take him on it at least once a trip. He's just too cute when he says, "Want dat!" and points! :lmao:

Thanks bunches! We had an excellent Easter!!! Kids were hopped up on candy almost all day and still have ten tons of it left. Our neighbor gave each kiddo a basket filled to the brim with about 7 kids of candy, including edible grass! It was crazy!! :lmao:

As for the box- I have no clue!!! But I am very excited and will post pics when it comes in. I will do a little party with my friends and I guess watch the Disney travel dvd, I know it has that with it. Other than that- no clue! :rotfl2::rotfl2: :goodvibes Should be cool either way.

Love your trip report and the pics, can't wait to read more!

Thanks!! :goodvibes I will do more soon- going to the zoo in the morning. So gotta go to bed soonish.

I have no idea what the big red box is either, but I can't wait to hear more when it comes! Anything Disney is sure to pack a lot of fun and excitement!

Loved reading about Davy's b-day, and the pics on the carousel are precious. :goodvibes Sounds like a great start to his 1st b-day!

Have a great time at the zoo today! I have all the kids home today, and I have no idea what we are going to do!
