I can't believe it!!! A mom in our Girl Scout troop still has not turned in her cookie money from her daughter's sales and won't answer phone calls or e-mails!! It is over $450 of the girls money. They have now made just about nothing for all their hard work on this years sales.
It is so not fair to the girls. They had planned to have an ice skating or swim party (yes, I know- total opposite ends of the activity spectrum- but that's my troop!) and a pizza party after, and now they will be lucky to have a bbq in the back yard of the other troop leaders house.
That was also our start up money for their Junior troop next year! How are we supposed to tell the girls that their money is gone?
That another mom didn't turn it in and probably won't......
I have not told my daughter yet..... sigh They were sooo looking forward to this and very excited. They sold more cookies this year than ever before- now all their profit is gone due to one girl and her mom. What to do?!?!
