Davy's in Wonderland! The TR of a little boy's dream!

I can't believe it!!! A mom in our Girl Scout troop still has not turned in her cookie money from her daughter's sales and won't answer phone calls or e-mails!! It is over $450 of the girls money. They have now made just about nothing for all their hard work on this years sales. It is so not fair to the girls. They had planned to have an ice skating or swim party (yes, I know- total opposite ends of the activity spectrum- but that's my troop!) and a pizza party after, and now they will be lucky to have a bbq in the back yard of the other troop leaders house.

That was also our start up money for their Junior troop next year! How are we supposed to tell the girls that their money is gone? That another mom didn't turn it in and probably won't...... I have not told my daughter yet..... sigh They were sooo looking forward to this and very excited. They sold more cookies this year than ever before- now all their profit is gone due to one girl and her mom. What to do?!?!

My troop didn't do cookies this year because we just started up in January. However, I think you need to report this to your service unit or council. She signed all of the paperwork up front, right? UGH...that is frustrating, and so unfair to all of the girls, esp her daughter!! I hope you find a way to get it straightened out!

Its already been reported, to no avail....... sigh. She signed all the paper work, but now all they can do is send collections after her. I can't belive anyone would do this to a girl scout troop and esp the kids including her own! Drives me nuts. We have a meeting this Friday, and I guess we will tell the girls then.

Hiya!!! It is pretty long.... I am a babbler... I can talk for long periods of time about absolutely nothing and everything!
One day I will get to... hmm, what day was I even on anyway? I think the end of Davy's birthday! That mean approx 2 days left I think for the TR and then 2 months and a couple weeks until my PTR is done, then I can start my next TR!!

Ok! Here we go- finally a new TR update!!

We were on Davy's Birthday! I found another random pic of him opening presents too- If you notice his shirt says "Daveyland" not disneyland!! My brother made it for him and it is a really cute shirt!

I just noticed he is wearing a dif shirt now than before.... I think this pic was actually when we got back to the room that day after all the party stuff and him getting cake everywhere... can't remember. He had to open presents several times, as he really had no clue what he was doing... lol

Anyway- After we did the carousel we went for Davy's special lunch! We went to the Crystal Palace and had to wait quite a while even with our ADR. There was a really long line and we had to slightly change our plan there- as we now had a wheel chair to add into the mix, so we had to wait longer for an available table. Bleh!

But oh my! Once we got in - it was great!! Davy was very happy, as usual. Aleks had a blast with the parade through the restaurant with Winnie the Pooh- Davy not so much. He just wanted to sit there and eat and hug his favorite friends Pooh and Tigger!

The food here was really good too. Great assortment. The only problem was deciding what to get, not only for me- but Nana too. She refused to even try to take her scooter over there and show me what she wanted. Pain in the you know what! I wasn't asking her to carry her food or anything, just come up to the buffet and tell me what to get her, so I wouldn't be guessing. I had to make several trips needless to say. Thank goodness our table was really close to the buffet!

It was pretty cool! I liked the food, but Chef Mickey's was even better!! I think that is the next day, I think.... Hmmm... better check my notes! Its been so long, I hardly remember. That's why you need to do you TR pretty soon after you get home- not 6 months later like me.

This trip coming up we are doing Chef Mickey's again. That was DH's favorite and his cousin and her children will be joining us. They have never done character dining and we wanted it to be something they will remember. I may go out and buy each kid a shirt or hat or something for the characters to sign as a memento of their dinner.

I love the silly glitter pics! I actually used the one of DD with her glitter as a Christmas card for her to send her cousins! It was funny. And Davy so loves Pooh bear. I hope he does this time too- because I will be on a character mission once again! I just hope the lines aren't too long. We are going in July.... ugh. Hot and lines. But it will be ok. Its just a short trip for the fun of it and we don't have anything we HAVE to do really. We will go back soon enough. Basically this trip is to meet DH's family, Disney just makes it better!!

He loves junk food like any proper 1 year old- maybe even a little too much! He is now addicted to sweet tea too. Thanks a bunch to his Nana for that one.... sigh!

I think I only have 1 day left of parks and then the lovely traveling back home day... I could have thrown mama from the car if you know what I mean.... so much for my patience huh? Oh well- what's done is done!

Davy is a good one for a cupcake for sure! LOVES them!

He is a carousel and cupcake junkie already at the age of one!! You will have a blast at the Crystal Palace!! I loved going in Sept and I know our next trip in July will be nothing compared to that one. Even if we do have free dining- it's going to be a lot busier than we are used to....
His 1st birthday indeed, did rock. I hope we can go for his 3rd as well- you know, get him in one last time for free!!
His older sister is like "when can we go for my birthday?" I already told her never- her birthday is usually President's day weekend- one of the busiest at WDW... poor kid... too bad she has a sneaky step-mommy... (hear the evil laughter). I am already planning a 10th birthday extravaganza for next year for her where we will be going to, no- not disney, but Universal to see the new Harry Potter world!!! We are both Potter freaks!! And we still won't be going her exact birthday- because I don't lie! I will never travel down there on her actual birthday. The week before? SURE!!

I am sure she will freak out. I only have a year and a little bit to plan it too.... hmmm.. better start soon! I just hope she doesn't find out. And where should we stay? It would be kinda pointless to stay at Disney since we don't plan to hit the World.
