i love the maggie sottero "monica marie" replica :) it's sooooo pretty. if you could have that made as a replica it would be amazing.

is it bad that i can look at a maggie dress and tell you it's name without researching??

I love the second to last TTD!!! Are you going with an etsy seller to do your replica? They have some really good shops in your price range. I really like the salmon colored BM dress it's so glamours and I love glamour:thumbsup2. Any of them really would be excellent choices :)

Haha, you're too funny! I'm obsessed with Maggie just as much as you! They were almost all Maggie replicas except for the first!! :rotfl:

Thanks!! I think I'm going to try this one website I found online... they make them over in China and have already made the dresses.. so we'll see. I may try etsy to see what a price quote is.. do you know of any certain sellers that are really good?? :surfweb:

I heard maggiesbridalshop was pretty good and I almost ordered from her until I decided to by from Davids online. What site are you thinking about there's a couple that you might want to think twice about and others that are pretty good from what heard. I have heard mixed reviews about Milly bridals online.

Haha! Thanks girls! I've been looking at dhgate.com. I've heard some pretty good stuff about them! So, we'll see! I probably won't order until summer time.. when my credit card is paid off! ha. ;D I'm debating giving DF a choice for the dresses.. but I think I'm going to keep it a secret. hah. I did mention a new dress and he didn't flinch? So we'll see!

And yes.. dirt bike pictures I think would be BAD A$*! ha. ;D Esp in that 2nd to last dress.. ha. Random ballgown wearing girl laying in some dirt, soooooo cool! ;D

Any other ideas for TTD?

First let me start off by saying today marks ONE MONTH TIL MY BIRTHDAY!! :cool1: :cool1: I hear Dave's planning something for that day, so that's kinda exciting! ha. I gave up on making plans for my birthday years ago because things always fell threw and people always got shady. Wonderful friends I had right? :lmao:

Anywho.. so I had emailed my consultant for my venue on Friday in regards to moving up my ceremony and such. She got back to me today and told me that unfortunately the owner will not allow me to move my ceremony time up because that is their 'prime season' and they host 2 events a day, so they won't allow me to do so. I hope that they don't book any other events that besides me, just outta spite. :headache: Stupid people. Well, stupid greedy owner is what I should say.
My consultant keeps telling me that I'll be fine time wise. But like I told her, until I sit outside on October 6th this year and watch that sunset. I'm still going to be a nervous wreck. So for right now I'm going to find out about getting married in a little local church down near the venue. It's a cute little beach church, which I think would be kinda adorable? :goodvibes So let's hope that it works out in my favor! :rolleyes1

I also emailed my photographer in regards to possibly doing a bridal portrait session the day after our wedding. I'd get to get all glammed up again and take pictures with my hubby the day after the wedding. I think it would be kinda fun? Especially if it's JUST the two of us and the photographer.
I think I just want to find a way to wear my dress as much as possible.. :rolleyes1

Anywho, I've been trying to do some things just to keep my mind off of the venue issue.. so I've been kinda contemplating the idea of a patterned bridesmaid dress?? What do you girls think? here's an example of one I've found that I kinda like below..
PromGirl-633387330.jpg

Yay or Nay?

I also found these 2 dresses.. they both come in the pumpkin color that the first one is in.. =]

Because those dresses that I had last posted... only come in the key lime color that's in my color pallette.. and I'm not sure all of the girls can pull that off? PLUS I canNOT seem to find a store with the dresses actually in the stores for them to try it on. :sad2:

I also found this dress that I'm debating on ordering for myself for the rehearsal. It's knee length, maybe a little longer. But with my long torso it'll probably come up to above my knee.
That's one issue I have a lot.. my torso is so long that I can never buy any of those cute little sundresses because they end up looking like a tshirt! ha.

Definitely let me know what you think of the patterned dresses though.. I think it's so unique and different! hehe.

OH and.. I started a blog on tumblr about my wedding.. it's password protected though, so if you'd like to check that out PM me and I'll send you the info! I JUST started it, so tomorrow on my day off I should be able to get a lot more of it updated! :woohoo:

Love the dresses girl:thumbsup2 and that black one will look really nice at the rehearsal. Have you thought about doing your bridals at Disney? Those would be super fun though I don't know how similar in costs it would be to the person your looking at now. You know there is a website that can tell you when the sun will set on a particular day of the year your looking for I was using it the other week bc I was thinking about doing bridals at Disney and I wanted to know what kind of lighting I was dealing with. I can't remember the site name but you can google it and I am sure it will come up for ya :)

It's scarey as to how much alike we are.. :scared1:

I've been to the site and checked it! ha. That's what routed this whole hysteria of the sunsetting with the ceremony and such! lol. So idk, we'll see! I have a feeling a new ceremony location is definitely in need! :headache:

But I was thinking of doing the Disney Bridals.. but we're not 100% sure where we are honeymooning yet! :confused3 We have a few places in mind and DF mentioned possibly not being in Disney the whole time.. which I'm FINE with as long as I get some Mickey time in at some point! So I don't want to do the bridals and take away from some time on our honeymoon? We'll see. But it is a good idea!

Plus we're doing a vow renewal on our first anniversary IN Disney, in which I WILL have my castle pictures done. :rolleyes1 :rotfl:

That's crazy that you already checked the site lol! Great minds, great minds! The bridals at Disney you take before the parks open do it shouldn't take away from the trip really and the photog you use takes you to and from your resort after it's over. I didn't know you wrent doing Disney the whole time though so you may be right about wanting to wait bc you will be tired that day for sure. The lady at Disney sent me a package if you want to know anything about it though:thumbsup2

I really love the second two bridesmaid dresses. The first one is cute, but not what I personally would consider for a bridesmaid dress? A pattern could work, but I think that one looks a little too "summery" for an October wedding, even though it is on the beach. But ultimately it's up to you :)

And the black dress is really cute! I was looking at dresses today and I really wanted to buy one but I don't really have a reason to. We are doing the rehearsal dinner pretty informal so we don't have to spend a ton more money, so I probably won't need a fancy dress.

Any and all information is more than welcome! :thumbsup2

The honeymoon is all up in the air right now.. I have NO idea what we're doing. I would LOVE to do Hawaii and then stop at DisneyLand on the way to or back from Hawaii. But as DF says Hawaii is UBER expensive.. :sad2:

Oh yeah and I wanted to mention that if you are going to Disney, I agree with Vicki - doing a bridal shot in Disney would be so amazing! I've looked at lots of the pictures, you can do some really cool ones in the countries in Epcot. I am in love with those pics but unfortunately it's not in the budget for us. But definitely consider it if it is a possibility for you!

HAPPY MONTH BEFORE BIRTHDAY!!!! :dance3: Get up your age with me Girly!! ;)

I don't understand your venue!!! Especially if you wanted to pay extra money to have some more time there!! :confused3 Silly greedy owner!!

I think the beach church would be beautiful!!!! Let us know how that goes!!

Really liking the idea of a patterned dress for the bridesmaids, but I would say that pattern is a little too busy? At least for a longer dress.... and maybe I would suggest a shorter length bridesmaids dress with a pattern? What about something like polka dots? Or something?

I love that black dress!!! Or I would suggest a white dress for the rehearsal!

I love the black dress or the white one that Amber posted! They both are gorgeous!!
And I may be the odd one here, but I really like that bridesmaid dress. I kind of want it myself...haha! But only if you are having a beachy wedding. I think otherwise, it might be too busy :)

Ugh, your venue. How annoying.

They have the honeymoon photo shoot at Disney. It's on our registry :)
I think that would be fun!

Thanks for the input girls! :goodvibes :grouphug:

That dress pattern was a bit much:scared1:, but was just kinda an example. I haven't found one that I really LOVE just yet. hehe. I definitely want to have long dresses though.

And I'd get that black one in white! :yay: It's a bridesmaids dress, so it's just a matter of ordering it in my size and color! Plus.. I get 20% off at my bridal shop! :woohoo:

And I don't get the venue either.. :sad2: :sad2: they're stupid. :headache: And I hope they don't have another wedding on my day, just because that's what they deserve! lol.
I'm going to call the church tomorrow.. hopefully it's a plus! Maybe I can get DF to take a ride down there this weekend to browse the area and take a walk on the beach!

So, totally forgot to tell you girls.. I'm working on our trip report from December.. I'm a little late I know. :lmao:

But it was before I met all of you fabulous people!

So.. with my memory it'll be more of a picture walk? ha. But I do remember a lot of it. So far I'm up to Day 4, got 3 more to go! Will post ALL of them at once.. so that there's no interuptions in the thread. :lovestruc
