OK, just had to jump in here as I look to be the only guy who has also been on the program... albeit, gulp, 10 years ago.
Congratulations to all of you who have a daughter or son in the program before, now or in the future. It is truly magical.
I will add my nod to all the things mentioned previously. Furniture is sparse. Bring a small TV if you want. Having five other roomies is a challenge, but fun. Cooking is an adventure. An Orlando-area Entertainment book would be a good thing for a CPer to have.
During my stay we figured out somewhere along the line that with rent, food, merchandise, etc, that WE were actually paying Disney about a quarter an hour to work for them. Not really. But it seems that way.
The only thing I'd change now is to stay longer. Now, I'm taking my family to WDW next month for their first trip. (I know, I know, we should have gone before now... it's a long story).
Anytway, everybody Hhve a wonderful and safe holiday.
