If you buy say a 5 or 7 day WDW park ticket, and have to cancel your trip. Do you have to cancel your ticket? Or does it just stay in your MDE to use at a later date?

Unless you pay more for the dateless tickets you would need to cancel. The tickets are good for the set dates when you purchase them. It's like a 10 day window or something.

Tickets are non-refundable. If you are unable to use the tickets, you will be able to apply the value towards a new ticket purchase of equal or greater cost.

Cancel? Outside of a package I thought tickets were non-refundable (can't cancel).

If you bought a package (hotel and tickets together in one purchase), then canceling the hotel will automatically cancel the tickets. If not, then you keep the tickets, and can use them on a future date by moving the date of the tickets (and paying any increase in price). Also, I believe you can transfer the tickets to another person before they are used.

We would probably just use them at some later date, I was just checking how they handle the date specific issue.
