We are trying to keep this thread ACCURATE and not just regurgitating internet rumors or hearsay. Please do not post links to external sites with inaccurate information. It only serves to continue the confusion and perpetuate the inaccurate rumors.
At this point we KNOW that DAS has definitely been granted under the new rules for both developmental disabilities and disabilities not typically classified as "developmental." The Disney website does indicate "or similar" which seems to be a big factor, not the diagnosis. It is the needs that are important; and more specifically, it really seems to be how one phrases/explains those needs.
