Oh my goodness. How scary. It's great that it's benign, but when anything is abnormal in the brain it's frightening. I'm glad it got caught though. I am definitely sending a TON of good juju & positive energy your way, and saying LOTS of prayers for you. Sending some prayers and pixie dust your way! It's probably nothing! I had to get a ct scan when I had a concussion and they found a cyst as well. They said it was nothing and that I just had to get yearly ct's. But...regardless...I will be keeping you in my thoughts!

Yes, the neurosurgeon mentioned that I probably would have to be tested yearly. Thanks for thinking of me!!

Sorry to hear that, saying many prayers for you! It's good at least that they say it's benign. Getting a second opinion is always a good idea, and hopefully when they tell you it's benign as well it will put some of the fears to rest. Stay strong, we are here for you!

Prayers said that the cyst will turn out to be nothing that you need to worry about. Try to keep calm in the meantime and remember what your doctor said about it probably being nothing.

Hello, ladies! Thank you for all the hugs, prayers and pixie dust! I went to the neurosurgeon on 8/31. He took a look at all of my scans and confirmed it is in fact a cyst and NOT a tumor. Well, that's the best news someone could give. However, he doesn't understand why it would give me headaches (not in the right area). So, he actually referred me to see 2 more doctors: another neurosurgeon and a neurologist. Better safe than sorry, but I felt like we hit sort of a dead end. I don't really know what lies ahead at this point, so we'll just have to wait and see!

Oh, and while I'm at it, I thought I'd just share some of the things I've been up to in "wedding world"!

-I finished writing up our bridal shower thank you cards and sent them out!
-Also printed and sent out the newsletters to the guests that have responded, 'yes'.
-I found really cute cosmetic bags with 'bridesmaid' and 'maid of honor' embroidered into them for 50% off at Hallmark. I put their jewelry and princess certificates inside them:

-I wrapped the flower girl gifts and put their giftcard inside some nice Mickey Mouse thank-you cards.
-Framed a nice picture of my grandmother for the memorial candle.
-Wrote out all our guest's information on the bag tags for their welcome bags.
-Made rehearsal brunch invites, just in case.
-Alphabetized the 'yes' guest list in preparation for the seating chart.
-Finishing up the ceremony program template of text and getting ready to print.

And that's just been in the last 2 days! Woo hoo!
We get to apply for the marriage license next week and our second bridal shower is being thrown in 3 weeks (On the 25th!)

The majority of the stuff I have left to do is all email and phone confirmation with a lot of our vendors...and to pay them off, of course!

Ok, well I'm off to do some more, while I still have this productive streak!

I'm already on my second load of laundry, one bathroom is almost clean--and I decided to take 13 lipglosses to WDW with me because I just can't decide on one or two. that's about as far as i've got this morning, lol. i'm so glad you got at least a little bit of good news from the doctor--hopefully that will put you at ease--and the others will too!!

Yes, luckily I continued with the busy streak and checked more things off the list! It's getting SO close...I'm very excited, but also excited for planning to be DONE.

So, I was pretty content, going on my merry way getting things checked off the list. Buying the rest of the little odd and ends, I sent a confirmation email to every vendor we have, setting up a more coherent schedule, sent the marriage license application, oh...and we purchased my wedding ring!!!!!! I love it so much! I wanted a little extra sparkle to go with my solitaire, so here it is!:

Then, TONIGHT (2 months away!) I get a message from one of my ushers that he wants to change his hotel and travel arrangements and arrive on the day of the wedding! Not only that...3 other groomsmen are supposed to be rooming with him, so it's been a chain effect of unraveling plans. I'm so worried that they're all going to get screwed over and then I'm going to be missing half of the guys. This is such a pain to go through, I really thought I was done with all this drama. No such luck.

I have one week left in Pennsylvania and then I finally get to go back to Massachusetts and be with Chris! I have been apart from him for about a month and it's rough.

I can't believe I have 2 months...

One of my DF's groomsmen thinks he is about to get laid, so I'm bracing myself for a call saying he can't make it to the wedding... I'll cross my fingers that neither of us have anything to worry about (easier said than done) and that everyone is where they need to be and on time! I went to my final neurologist appointment this past Tuesday and received
more positive news--that my cysts (note plural-they found a second!) are BENIGN and I should not have to worry. They are some of the smallest they've ever seen, so they shouldn't be a problem, but of course I'll have to have follow up MRI's in the future. So, I ended up going to the optometrist the next day to see if the headaches I have are a result of my eye straining...and to no surprise, I need glasses. So, luckily that's not a big deal. I'm just happy that I don't need any more tests for a while! Phew!
So, I just wanted to thank all of you again, I really have appreciated the well-wishes, prayers and pixie dust you all sent to me. I was upset for a while, but you all managed to put a smile on my face and helped me cheer up. I cannot thank you all enough.


Just a quick wedding snippet--I'm going back to Massachusetts this weekend!
So needless to say, my mother and I have been running around like crazy the past couple of days trying to buy all the last little accessories I need. We've collected undergarments, jewelry, shoes, makeup, etc. So, expect a bigger and more exciting post sometime next week, though!
