So, just wanted to share that I had my medical tests done today. I had quite the day...I think I need a nap! It started off by getting 3 vials of blood taken and then I ended up passing out! I have never passed out before, so I didn't quite know what was going on! Everything just started getting really bright and white. I actually thought the good lord was taking me away! However, because I had to go in on an empty stomach and had so much taken...It just all caught up with me. I went to the door to get the phlebotomist's attention and the next thing I know I'm waking up on the waiting room floor with a bump on the head. (As I fell, I hit the wall.) Seesh. Then I went to get an MRI, which was painless and easy, just long. So, I'm relieved to have lived through the day. And I'm SO ready to just curl up and watch a movie or something now. Goodnight!

I actually am in Pittsburgh still! I was going to go back to Boston this weekend, however the hurricane is just too much to travel through. So I'm home until further notice.

Thanks, all. I got my results back today.
All my blood tests came back good.
However, they found a cyst in my brain. I'm very scared and nervous. The doctor said it's benign, but because I get headaches, I should go get another opinion from a neurosurgeon. I'm scheduled to go in this Wednesday. I'll keep you all updated.

PLEASE send me good vibes, pixie dust and prayers...I could really use them right now.

Oh my goodness. How scary. It's great that it's benign, but when anything is abnormal in the brain it's frightening. I'm glad it got caught though. I am definitely sending a TON of good juju & positive energy your way, and saying LOTS of prayers for you. I know I can speak for the other girls on here that we're all here for you for whatever you need.

Sending some prayers and pixie dust your way! It's probably nothing! I had to get a ct scan when I had a concussion and they found a cyst as well. They said it was nothing and that I just had to get yearly ct's. But...regardless...I will be keeping you in my thoughts!

Sorry to hear that, saying many prayers for you! It's good at least that they say it's benign. Getting a second opinion is always a good idea, and hopefully when they tell you it's benign as well it will put some of the fears to rest. Stay strong, we are here for you!

Prayers said that the cyst will turn out to be nothing that you need to worry about. Try to keep calm in the meantime and remember what your doctor said about it probably being nothing.
