OK - I didn't want to post this on the official thread because some may want it to stay a surprise. According to Brooke Burke, Misty May-Treanor either ruptured or tore her achilles tendon and will be leaving the show tonight. She supposedly will have surgery this week. Word is that Kim Kardashian has been brought back to keep the number of dancers on schedule.

I'm really bummed about this news because I'm a big Misty fan. It's worse for her because she's still a professional athlete and there's no telling how this will affect her volleyball career. Here's hoping for a quick recovery.

I did hear that she was leaving the show due to injury, but I hadn't heard about Kim Kardashian coming back. This will be interesting....
