Same with musicians, Walker Hayes is another artist that fits that example

Usually Cheryl is my favorite female choreographer. But, I just haven't been feeling it for her this season. And then when she & Cody were off for two weeks, in a way, "Zooming" it in, I felt even less for them.

I want Iman to win. He's what this show used to be all about... a non-dancer who goes on a journey to become one.

Yes, but sadly, there is a huge portion of viewers who always vote for the best dancer, even if that star came in with dance experience already. That person usually wins.

And as great as Iman was this week, and he and Daniella did death defying lifts and throwing her up in the air and over his shoulders and such, which was extremely impressive and spectacular, it was a little too Cirque du Soleil-ish for me. :duck

Whereas JoJo & Jenna did more normal dancing. And I think the portion of the audience that always votes for the best dancer will vote for that. That's why, in my opinion, they will be the ones to beat.

As others have said, Cody just doesn't reach some of us emotionally.

And I think Derek was spot on when he said there are times when Amanda dances for the judges or the audiences, and this time, she danced for herself. @AustinTink, you even said you saw her perform and didn't remember her. I think that's when she's dancing for the audience and there might not be as strong of a connection. Last night she DID her dance for herself. As good as she is dance-wise, I don't know that she will be able to do it again - unless she dedicates another song to Nick. But, I think even the audience will be over that, feeling that she's milking it. She played her "grieving widow" card already.

Wait a minute. That may mean ALL the judges may be infected now too. They were all sitting together with no masks. And while they were 6 ft apart, there were probably other times backstage that they may have been close together.

Yep, Len was the first person I thought about. Hope they are all ok.

Jenna choreographed a half Jazz half Argentine Tango which I thought was a bit of a cheat since JoJo is trained extensively in Jazz. I didn’t like it.

Daniella Choreographed an amazing memorable routine and modified tthose spectacular lifts for a beginner not from Cirque du Soleil but from professional Dancesport Cabaret Ballroom. Here’s a link to what it looks like

All 15 of the show’s season 30 celebrities will return to the ballroom to dance an opening number all together, performing to the hit song “Dynamite” by BTS. Season 30 pro dancers will come together to perform a dance to “Pour Some Sugar On Me” by Def Leppard. In addition, the finale will feature special performances by Melanie C who will return to sing “2 Become 1” by the Spice Girls, and recent CMA Award winner Jimmie Allen will also perform his single “Good Times Roll.”

• Popstar and dancer JoJo Siwa and pro Jenna Johnson will perform a Tango and Cha Cha fusion dance to “I Love It” by Icona Pop feat. Charli XCX; then a freestyle dance to “Born This Way” by Lady Gaga
• NBA basketball star Iman Shumpert (“We Got Love Teyana and Iman”) and pro Daniella Karagach will perform a Cha Cha and Foxtrot fusion dance to “September” by Earth, Wind & Fire; then a freestyle dance to a medley of “Lose Control” by Missy Elliot feat. Ciara & Fat Man Scoop and “Bounce” by DJ Clent
• Talk show co-host of “The Talk” Amanda Kloots and pro Alan Bersten will perform a will perform a Viennese Waltz and Paso Doble fusion dance to “Never Tear Us Apart” by Bishop Briggs; then a freestyle dance to “A Sky Full of Stars” by Coldplay
• Celebrity fitness guru Cody Rigsby and pro Cheryl Burke will perform a will perform a Paso Doble and Cha Cha fusion dance to “Free Your Mind” by En Vogue; then a freestyle dance to a medley of “Beethoven’s Fifth” and “Nails, Hair, Hips, Heels (Just Dance Version)” by Todrick Hall
