Pretty flowers is always good.
That is exactly what I look like!![]()
Here's a trip report from a few cruises ago. http://disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2702231
I have lost a bit of weight and cut my hair since then. But we won't be staying Sunday night, so I'm not sure we'll be able to meet up.
LegoMom, when you're done prettying up your yard, want to come down and do mine?
I need to start thinking about what we're going to plant.
Off to help Nana pick up her car from the shop (it had some work done), and then visit Grandpa. It's a grandparent kind of day.
I'm still betwixt and between on my airfare and thinking I'm just going to have to suck it up and pay the higher rate. We'll see.
Everyone have a lovely Friday!
Mornin' nanners!! Happy Friday!
Another week I'm geting in all 5 days of work! Didn't even get a text to come in late today, so I am very pleasantly surprised. DH and DS13 are in FL, enjoying the heat. DS didn't have any shorts that still fit him, so one of the first things they did was go shopping! DH is getting to help out my dad with some little projects, which is really great.
Nice weekend on tap here, too. Not sure what I'll do! Maybe it's time to go get some flowers and pretty up this yard.
.
I had to pay $400 for my flights last time I went to FL. I hope your ticket is not more than that.
Per ticket? WOW!!!!
No, the price I am looking at is far more reasonable, but I am just kicking myself for not doing it sooner when it was lower.

Yes, $400 per ticket. Craziness. Sorry the price jumped on you.
It's all relative. I can only dream of flights being that cheap!![]()
....
Oh, believe me, don't I know it. We've got family in Italy, and MJS is dying to go, but I just can't stomach the ticket price right now nor the length of flight at Squirt's age. (He'll be 3 in July.)
I can't stomach that length of flight at MY age, and that's a lot more than 3!!![]()
If I were going to willingly put myself on a plane for anything that long (or more), I would first have to have something to knock me out.
Then, I would only do it to see a) The British Isles; or b) New Zealand. I guess if I were doing the BI's, I could always hop a ferry to the Continent and then do the train thing.
That's one thing keeping us from going overseas, the long plane ride. And the cost. We are talking about going to Hawaii next year. But that depends on the cost of flights and being able to use our points at Aulani.
BTW - I'm at Disney right now! Staying at the treehouse villas for the first time.

Woo hoo! Got a walk in to Be Our Guest. Showed up at 4:15 and they said 15 - 20 minutes now or not at all today. We took it.

It's actually easier to fly when they are younger. We've flown with DS when he was 7 months, under 3, 5, 7, 8, 10 and 11. It seems the older he gets, the more uncomfortable it gets for him, the harder it is for us!![]()
Aw, Kimmar. Rough day?
I hope this is because you're either having withdrawals from Disney or having a rough day.
I certainly hope it has nothing to do with you personally or any family members.![]()
I'm just putzing around on here this morning, and TK, I was looking over all the links in your siggie and found the TR from the May weekend in '09. So I ventured on over and started to have a nice reminiscent read.....esp. the chapter re: our ride on the HM together.....the ride that sealed our friendship lock, stock and barrel..........and thinking, y'know, we really ought to do that again someday. You, me, and our gal Tink.
One can dream.....
p.s. Can you imagine what a meal at Casey's would be like now that we are all so comfortable with each other?!!

....the doctors finally did what they were trying to avoid - they amputated my brother's left leg, 5 inches below his knee [and, he is also permanently blind]....plus, my DS, who went into the NJ State Tropper's Police Academy last Monday, is now out....he blew out his knee and they think he tore his meniscus....he'll have to wait 2 years to re-enter....
