LM. I hope you're feeling better and the dizziness subsides. Hopefully it won't return, but be cautious , and know your body... if you think it could be something more serious, then get your butt to the dr. right away. maybe just stress... how did everything work out with your son, and the bike issue.

........

MQ.. looking forward to your cruise...? I can't wait.. it's been so long, and now I'm getting nervous about leaving the kids with my dad. it's going to be hard for him... part of me thinks I should cancel.. or bring everybody... but that's impossible.. I feel guilty too.

I'm not concerned about it because it doesn't happen often, but when it does, it always at "that" time of the month. I'm not sure if it's low iron or just some weird thing my body does. :confused3 Friday was the worst day, Sat. it was still there but better, and by Sunday morning I was fine.

Please don't cancel your cruise!!! Unless there is some very real issue with your dad watching the kids, don't worry about it and just go and nurture your relationship with DH. SO important. :cloud9: Based on what I read here, you guys are a very busy family -- the alone/relaxation time will be priceless!

.

Oh yes... I know the hormonal imbalance... I get migraines....

And DH and I are in desperate need of some time... beyond desperate... almost a necessisity or we are bound to fail... But I am just worried about my dad... mostly because I know how crazy our schedule is, and I don't want him to feel like he will have to do it all... I will hopefully get the kids to pitch in, and help with the daily stuff like keeping up with their own laundry, and helping the younger boys make their school lunches and homework etc. I know some things will not be going on, like football will be done, and volleyball will be done by then, so I guess it will be ok.. but I'm worried about my middle son.. he's having issues with school, and behavior.. along with him just being nervous about me and DH leaving, I don't want him to be a problem for my dad. I gotta run..

I am looking very much forward to the cruise! And I agree with LM, you should not cancel. If we had someone to watch our kids while we went on a cruise (or any where kid-free), we'd jump on it! (Though not a Disney one, because the kids would kill us.) Enjoy your adult time!

Oh hon I so feel for you!! This is just sucky. I still have it today, not as bad but I'm not "normal" yet. Thank goodness for the SeaBands to keep the nausea at bay. :crazy2: I have a TON of stuff to get done around the house today. I was also supposed to run this morning but there's just no way.

.

I didn't receive notification in my email that anyone posted on here. Good thing I decided to check anyway.

I gave up on the idea of exercising in the morning long ago. No way my head will allow for it. I hope the dizziness is gone and you feel 'normal' again.

Sept. 24 is my last night class and graduation will be in October. I had a job interview that has me written all over it. It is about a 20-30 minute drive. It'll be full time with benefits and vacation. It is in a town that I don't really want to work in. Nothing is wrong with the town, I grew up there. I just don't want to work there. I want to work in the town where I live or another one.

I know, I'm being picky.

GOOD LUCK! :wizard:

PA MOm... good luck.. sounds like everything will fall into place for you. the hard work is finally paying off...

Sadie are you getting ready for Survivor? I think this season will be interesting... they are bringing back alot of the favorites, and their relatives.. I wonder if they will be split up, and or all together... if they will have to do teams, until when... are they going to have to turn on each other eventually? can't wait to see what happens..

Yes, I am looking forward to Survivor and seeing Rupert again. He is my all time favorite.

I 2nd this!

My family spent some much needed time together this past weekend at Acadia National Park. We only spent 1 night, but it went well. Beautiful area. Thankfully my brother that lives near me took care of my zoo. We do a lot for him and his dog so he was happy to do it. Now that my kids are older (18 & 22) and my daughter is out of the house, the 4 of us are not together all at once very often.

I don't get the emails but lately the notices are not showing up when I check my "User CP"...it'll just say "There are no notifications at this time...." or whatever it is. I open the thread anyway to check for myself!

I can already see this happening to our family. :sad1: It's inevitable, but hard. My oldest turns 17 in about 6 weeks; he's already chomping at the bit to be on his own (until he realizes how hard it is!!). I haven't been to Acadia since '93! It's a 6-hr. drive for us, so it's hard to do in one weekend. Beautiful there, though!

I usually open the thread and check on my own too. Last week for some dumb reason I decided to go by the email. Won't do that again.

I had not been to Acadia since '96. I have always wanted to go back and have been telling my husband that for years. Finally I decided if I wait for him to suggest it, it will never happen so I went ahead and made plans. Why didn't I do that years ago? :headache: If it was left up to him, we would never do anything.

It's a strange feeling when your kids get older and busy with their own lives. When there is a little time you can all be together, you take it.

I think you're right.... I just can't imagine when all of this will be done... everyone says.. how fast it goes, and how you miss it... I know I will, My DH on the other hand says he can't wait for the kids to get older.. Me... I wish they were all new borns again... Speaking of newborns... today is my dd's birthday.... she's 14... (going on 28)... seems like yesterday she was born during hurricane Flloyd... and our lives haven't been the same since our little hurricane hit our life.

Yesterday was a crazy day..... (as all days are)... but here goes... DD15 had swim practice at one pool, DD14 had volleyball game at the HS, and DS9 had football practice down town, then my little guy.. DS5 had his first swim practice (he joined the team too.. loves it.. but of course he's been around it his whole life)... the worst part is, he and my dd will never swim or practice at the same meet or pool, since they are boy / girl... and there's 10 years difference)... And then my DS 9 had a back to school night ,,, SOMEHOW.. we managed . Tonight will hopefully be a quieter night.. watching Rupert.... Although I loved him the first time he was on.. hopefully it will be a good season... Pizza night Wednesdays while survivor is on... (I love that... it makes my life easier too)..

Off to Florida today!!! Where I'll be feelin' hot, hot, hot! (already getting quite chilly here in NH so I'm all about the heat. Well, *pfft*, when am I not?!! :rotfl:. ) Really looking forward to this visit with my dad. I always do, but this trip his wife is away, so I get to stay right there with him (they have an extra room but it's "her" room where she relaxes after work, scrap-books, knits and such so I normally stay with friends), and it'll be nice to have him to myself for a few days. :goodvibes

Have a great trip! A cool front is coming this week. Highs in the high 80's instead of high 90's. So, still pretty darn hot.

Hi Kimmar! Good to see you sneak in.

Daisyyy - I am so glad my girls are not into anything. I'd hate being the bus driver all the time.
