Well THAT was fun! So far I like the story line(s)...but not so sure on some of the actors. I do like John Ross...he kinda reminds me a bit of a young Matt Dillon. I see they are having the characters *suffer* through driving mundane cars, NOT! Some things were predictable, like the brother/sister con-artists...been done so much on soaps...but I am getting a kick out of the JR/JR jr competition. Elena playing both sides should get interesting as well. It's like a Sunday swap from Desperate Housewives watching Brenda Srtong and Jesse Metcalf..and I *think* the guy playing John Ross was on DH too, wasn't he?
Now I am missing Knot's Landing!!!!!!!!!!!!

I saw the kid who is playng Christopher on a talk show the other day and he said that all the people from the old show have been invited back and the writers will be glad to put them in if they do, but they don't know how many will take them up on the offer.
I would love to see Cliff Barnes again, and even Mary Cosby if she is out of jail yet. Wasn't she the mother of Christopher?

It seems when the show ended, Sue Ellen and Bobby had teamed up. So I hope she will help Bobby

I loved it! I was glued to my television from the first scene. Larry Hagman is fantastic as JR as he ever was. I really hope they don't end up killing off Bobby with the cancer. I haven't read much about it so I don't know if the original members are only on the show for a short time or if they are on it permanently. Anyone else know?

The two episodes are on again this Friday, June 15th, at 10:30 and 11:30 EST.

Also, I didn't realize that CMT is re-running the original series. Definitely have to set up the DVR for that!

I can only see the listings for the next week on my cable guide, but here's what's scheduled:

Today (Thursday) 5 episodes: 12pm - 4pm

I read somewhere that Pam will not be making an appearance. Apparently Victoria Principal has no desire to play her again...seems she is too busy with her skin care line

Cliff Barnes will be on at some point so I can't wait for him. He was always the comic relief...loved him!

I would be 100% okay recasting Pam, eso if Bobby was going to be sick with cancer. I would love to see some closure there
