Daisy Duck Sightings????

Hi,

I have been reading how rare it is to find Daisy Duck. We are going to WDW in June for the first time and my 4 year old DD is obsessed with Daisy, and of course she is the one character she really wants to meet. Any suggestions where the best place to find her would be??? Is she at any character meals???

During our president day trip she was on the character bus at Epcot. The times are published in the times guide and it makes several stops around the WS.

Last June we saw her in Magic Kingdom in Town Square area.
It was an EMH and we were heading to Peter Pan, well, we saw Diasy Duck come out & we quickly got in her line instead! LOL

That was the only time we saw Diasy Duck during that trip.

I've read this as well and it has always confused me b/c it seems like we see Daisy every time we go to MK...maybe I'm imagining things, but we're going in May and I'll really be paying attention this time!

The last few years I've always seen Daisy somewhere in Town Square at MK, usually in the morning. She use to make appearences in Camp Minnie-Mickey at AK as well but she was moved to Dinoland last year and I have yet to see here there (only went to Dinoland once last year and only Donald was there).

We saw Daisy last April at Camp Mickey-Minnie in the AK. That is the first and only time we've ever seen her.

Found Daisy in the morning at MK's town square last October. Going in April and will look then too.

We also saw Daisy at the MK in the morning and at Epcot on the character bus during Presidents' week in Feb. It was a crucial find as my 3 yo DN was Daisy for Halloween and desperately wanted to meet her! Hopefully you won't have any difficulty finding her.

Might she also pop in near Donald's place in Toontown????

that she could be found some mornings in MK along with lots of other characters at park opening and for a while thereafter. And that her other spot was in Animal Kingdom in Camp Minnie Mickey. But like the other I have occasionally seen her on the character bus at Epcot.

We spent three days finding her last summer as Breanna wasn't going to be happy unless she saw her "girlfriend Duck". Thank goodness we finally located her at MK on our last day.

The only time I have seen her is during the parades or on special event nights. When I took the keys to the Kingdom tour the guide told us that you almost never see them botha t the same time. This is because it is hard to find people to play them who meet the height requirements

Possibly randomly, but not likely. Donald doesn't even show up at Toontown often either. At MK, he's usually just at the Hub after the Castle show and maybe at Town Square occasionally.

this past January, we entered MK and saw Daisy right there in town square. The line was pretty long, so my husband offered to wait while I took my daughter to see some other characters. We saw Captain Hook, Mr. Smee, Robin Hood and a couple characters from Pinnochio (that's how long her line was compared to how short the others were). Well we got back into line just before it was our turn, quickly got her autograph and picture and started to say our goodbyes. Well my husband says ' hey, I've been waiting a long time in line, I deserve a picture with Daisy'. We all laughed as he gave Daisy a kiss on her head while I took the picture. Then we turn to walk away but Daisy locks arms with my husband and won't let him go. We laugh, and take another picture but she still won't let him go. I jokingly say 'Daisy, you have a lot of kids waiting for you do you really need to keep my husband'. She nods, and holds on. I said ' ok, i'm going to find Donald'. Finally she lets go. My husband was so embarrassed.

On our last visit to Disney (Aug. 2003), Daisy was in Dinoland. She was standing there all by herself so we just had to go over and visit her.

We were there right after the park opened and she was the only character we saw back there.

We saw her at the MK near the entrance to the park...she was signing auto's and hugging the little ones.

We've seen her in Dinoland, she's keeps with the theme and is wearing a tourist sweatshirt/hat. She always seems to be on the Epcot holiday bus.

For any character, in any park, all you have to do is ask any CM in a shop (must have a phone...can't be a cart), to call the hotline. They'll find out where and when you should go to see that "special someone". We did it for Daisy last Oct. when DD decided on the last day that she just HAD to see her. It was great. Melanie

WOW!! Thanks for your responses. Sounds like Dinoland and Town Square are definitlley worth checking out. I will also take the advice and check with a CM if I have no luck. I am bound and determined to find this duck!

Now we have the opposite! We go in October and May of every year and after 2 years of searching for Daisy we finally got her autograph this past October! She was on the Epcot character bus which comes a few times a day. Wish we would have known that earlier! You can also ask any CM to call the Chip & Dale hotline and they will tell you where to find a character. Apparently Daisy hangs out at the judges tent in Toontown but we always seemed to miss her.
