Dairy Farmers Wife IS going to Disney in March/April!

Aww sweetie. I wish I could wave a wand and make Skip feel better. It's must be very frustrating to see him in pain and have no ability to help. You've done so much to try and help, the doctors are just being difficult. Disney or no Disney, I truly hope his pain is relieved soon.

I love the fact that you took Tim's advice and paraded Claire in all her glory for Skip! I will keep my fingers crossed that you get an answer by the deadline.

Tim's advice was good. Skip was shaving in the other bathroom when I dressed her, and she went waltzing in and it was so cute. I couldn't hear much because the door was closed, but I did hear her say she was wearing this dress to eat in the castle.

Hi Jen,

I just pm'ed you!:goodvibes And I agree, sending your sweet little girl all decked out in her Cinderella costume was pure genius!:thumbsup2 Keeping my fingers crossed that it worked! I'm sure she melted his Disney heart.:goodvibes

Got it! Thanks :thumbsup2 I hope it worked too.

:goodvibes I can understand your stomach nerves too. When I was originally campaigning for us to take our 2nd Disney trip, I had my girls asking DH all the time! For some reason it's harder to say no to them than to me!

But now we've got 4 Disney trips under our belts and DH is officially converted.:thumbsup2 Only took about 3 trips and now he understands that Disney is our #1 vacation spot, period!

I swear, I should change the title to "these are the Days of our lives". It is such a soap opera right now. Too much drama for me. :lmao: It really kicked in the nerves today. I get anxiety attacks every so often. I actually have them at Disney, but it's because of the excitement and I cna handle it there. But at home, I hate them. And I haven't had any in a long time, but I think after he said last night that we will wait for the Dr, I realized how we are cutting it right to the wire and it is making me a nervous wreck. LOL! I will live if we don't stay at Pop, but it's what we are used to, and I know we like it.
I am leaning towards CBR. (if we do go and have to change) I have done the reserach on it over that last year, so it is somewhat familiar. Though I like the fact that Coronado has queen beds. But I am nervous about the food court too. It seems like a hassle. Don't you have to tip there too? Unless you get it to go, which 99% of the time, we do at Pop. I always take it to the room or we eat out by the pool.

Tim has stayed at CSR before, so maybe he can chime in on how it all works there. I will be happy with either, I'm sure. Just wish we could go to our comfort zone. LOL!

I like CSR much more than CBR. When we went I don't remember having to tip anyone. There are two different QS dining areas at CBR. Of course I was also sick with Bronchitis so I didn't eat much but my friends got food the same place I did. But we definitely like the rooms and the pool a lot better at CSR.

I'm not exactly sur how it workd, but I think you usde to have tip tip if you weren't on the dining plan, but now I think you do, if you eat right there.

We didn't have the dining plan. I think there are two places to eat. One you have to tip and the other you don't. We ate at the other one. But it was 2 years ago, so I don't remember exactly how it worked.

I didn;t realize there were 2 places. But I think the Pepper Market is the one you have to tip at. I guess I should probably go look for the CSR thread and brush up on it a bit, just in case.

So... we just need to pray that the doctor says something good? Crossing my fingers!!! :goodvibes

Yes, but I don't know what good would be. LOL! If he wants to re-operate, then it's an issue of when...hopefully not till after Christmas for my sake, but for DH's sake, lets hope it's the next day. LOL! OK, that was selfish. :rolleyes1 I really don't think he will operate yet anyways. Skip thinks he will send him to yet another Dr.
I do want Skip back in shape, so if it comes down to another operation, I guess we have to go with that. But according to the Dr before, everything looks text book perfect. But he might be feeling the pressure now, since Skip mentioned going to the Cleveland Clinic, so he might just redo it to save his own skin.

I'm trying to play catch up so I am skimming over alot of the posts. Love the Cinderella dress.

Hope any operation doens't interfere with your trip.

The Pepper Market at CSR has been known to charge the 10% sometimes and other times not. You can avoid that by getting your food to go and just eating outside at the tables by the lake. The queen beds at CSR are great and I love the updated rooms. We didn't encounter any rudeness that I can remember... I'll have to re-read my Characters TR... I have a ton of CSR pics in there.

While it is a convention resort, I never felt out of place there. We did see a few people walking around with polo shirts and pants on.... but it didn't bother us. There were plenty of kids for Juliana to make friends with. If nothing else, being a convention resort kept the busses and pool a little less packed.

I liked the set up of the CSR better than CBR, but to each his own. We had a pirate room at CBR and it was really cool. I think you can't go wrong with either resort. :goodvibes

I'll cross my fingers for good news on Tuesday!

And just in case you get a yes and need to make a decision... We're staying at CSR for the first time in December and I'm so excited to try it out! I hear the remodeled rooms are really nice! Plus as the dedicated Diser I am, you know I've done my research.
Here's a link to one of the threads i found on the Dis. They just started a new one so it's short and easy to navigate:
http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2568966

And here's a website I found for CSR as well:
************************************** <-- won't let the link show so just google Buzz's Unofficial Coronado Springs Resort Web Pages

Plus, you can't beat those queen size beds!

Thanks. I'll check those out if needed. Right now, if we pay in full by the 26th, we'll have Pop. It's if he decieds to wait longer, then I may have to make a choice of another resort.
I've seen pictures of both, and they both are gorgeous. Who knows, maybe Pop will have more cancleations and I'll stil lbe able to get it after the fact.

If it helps at all.....CSR is the hotel that the aunts stayed in on Sabrina the Teenage Witch in the Disney episode! I was kinda excited when I saw that lol.
