Dairy Farmers Wife IS going to Disney in March/April!

That is awesome!!!!! :thumbsup2

Thanks

That was really sweet of Skip to do that for Claire. Now, it would be even sweeter if he'd just say yes to the Disney trip.

Yes it would.

Oh those cow pictures are so cute! I worked at a dairy farm in high school (at the ice cream stand). We loved it when the cows had babies! We didn't love it when they got loose and had to corral them at 8 pm on a hot humid summer night!

Neen there done that. We have a few daredevils every so often that get lose. In fact about a week ago I was taking trash out to the dumpster and I startled some calves. We have some in this big hut thing (it's like a metal hut with a rounded top and a window in the back, and hold several calves). One calf jump sop high when running that he jumped out the back window. So Skip, Claire and I had to try and coax him back into the hut.

Now that was sweet! I love baby calves. I grew up on a dairy farm and I loved the newborns. They have such sweet faces and I could get them so riled up they'd just be jumping like crazy!

Oh that is sooooo cute... I wish our school (also Catholic) would do that. Maybe I will bring it up at the next parent council meeting

It is in honor of a Saint, but I can't remember which one. Skip and I both went to that school as well, and it used to be a big deal way back then, but was held on a Sunday in the Spring. They stopped doing it for many years, and decided to bring it back. It's now in the fall, because that Saint's feast day is in the Fall. (but for the life of me, that Saint's name, I think a Patron Saint of animals, is gone from my mind)

AWW! Yes they can get quite wild.

Oh my gosh!!!! That is way too cute!!! I love the pictures of Claire with the calf. She looks so proud!

I love when Brenda is that excited about things. It is so great to just sit and listen to her when she is like that. I know it never makes sense but I know her mind is going so fast that she wants to get it all out. I love it!!! :lovestruc

Yep. Claire was the same way after meeting Ariel (as a mermaid) last trip. She just kept talking and talking, she was so excited.

Its those kind of moments that I can't wait for! I know the kids will each have things at WDW that put them in the almost babbling stage! That's when I know they are loving things. Is Ariel anywhere as a mermaid anymore... I know her Grotto is gone.

Okay, all caught up again!

It sure seems like Disney is doing a lot of adjusting the menus lately - and the prices. I wonder if they are slowly redoing them all and raising the prices to make the DDP a bit more favorable again. :scratchin Who knows! The CS meals over at the new Mexico place are over $10 each, and kids are $7!! Yuck.

I sure hope the meal at CRT is decent!

That is so cute about Skip bringing the calf to school for Claire! What a good Daddy! :thumbsup2

And he'll be even better when he says YES!!!!!

Does he realize it's not just YOU he's keeping on pins and needles, but also your DIS friends?!?! Come on Skip! :lmao:

I don't thik she is in mermaid form at the moment anymore.

He's being down right rude to you guys! LOL!

Well.....well.....has Skip said anything yet?!:confused:
I can't wait for you to get on here with the good news!!! :goodvibes

Nothing yet. He is really busy today, finishing up combining corn, so I'm not going to bug him about it at this point. But I do keep wearing Disney shirts and leaving Disney books on his side of the bed all the time. LOL!

How nice of Skip to bring a calf for Claire. I bet she was shocked to see that!

Come on SKIP!!!!! We need an answer!!!!

I thinking of getting rid of my Rose & Crown ADR and I can't. :headache: I saw you have joined the Dec canceled ADR thread.:laughing:

I subscribed to it a bit ago when you were talking about it and have been watching it.
I don't want to cancel on the phone though till I can see it all laid out in front of me and be sure. I am going to cancel Chefs de France and keep the Via Napoli.
I'm still debating on the O'hana's dinner and 1900 PF breakfast that I would have to pay OOP for. I change my mind on those about every 10 minutes. LOL!
I'm not sure the exact cost of O'hanas, because one site list it $5 higher than the other. And I don't know if Holiday pricing is happening then and if that resaurant is one of the ones they hike or not. I pretty much figured it would be close to $100 with tip though for the 3 of us. And that just seems like alot! And I'm not sure Iwant to take the time on our arrival day to get all the way over there for just that.
My other thought is to relax, and then head over to DTD a bit and have dessert later at Beaches and creams. Or just do nothing is another option. LOL!
I'm pretty sure that if we go, we will do MVMCP on Thursday (the 9th), and I also want to do the resort photoshoot that day. So 1900 PF just might be a little too much to do and still have time to enjoy AKL.
Too many decisions. :rolleyes1

Yes! :thumbsup2 You must wait for the perfect moment...and during harvest is not always the best time! Those subtle hints are so much better. :goodvibes Plus be REALLY super nice to him! Good luck!

Hi Jen,
I'm sorry I'm behind. How AWESOME that a calf was brought to school for Claire! Skip earned some serious points on that one! That is about one of the cutest baby animals I've seen in a long time!

So, did Skip tell you that he'd have an answer for you BEFORE the 26th deadline?

Niceness is my first name right now. LOL!

He did, but he now has a Dr appointmnet on the 26th and I have a feeling he will wait till after the appointment. He called and left them a message that he was just going to go to the Cleveland Clininc now, and all of a sudden the call back and fit him in.

OK, all caught up. That baby calf is soo cute and it was so nice of Skip to take it in to school for Claire. And it's adorable that she calls it "fun" money. Of course, if it's for Disney then that's what I would call it too! I can't wait to hear Skip's answer! I can barely contain myself waiting!

I can hardly wait too. But I do have to prepare myself for a no, though I don't want to. I think he will know that I will become extremely grumpy if we get a no though.
