Thanks! We (Claire and I and my family) are going away for most of the day tomorrow, so hopefully that keeps my mind off of things.

Skip asked alot about the trip tonight....BUT he does NOT want to stay 7 nights. And he said no way could Claire and I stay longer either. He is even willing to fly a different airport to go less nights. I told him that the other day Allegiant flies is Sat, which he was fine with....Um no... that gives us 3 nights at Disney, 1 day arriving late afternoon and then leaving at the butt crack of dawn on Sat. He thinks 7 will be way too many days, while I don't think it's even enough. He has considered DL though too, which would be great, but ruin all my planning...but he is doing that already. LOL!
In the end, he says not till after he gets back from the Dr. (OH and he is not really too excited to go to AKL and change resorts either, but I told him that free dining didn't start till the 10th, and how much Claire wants to stay there.)

We jsut did some more Disney talking. we were out in the barn with his buddy and all throwing out stuff. Some thoughts were to go to DL and stop in Vegas first and also go to the grand canyon. But in the end hesaid he has to admit he doesn't mind Disney and 7 days seems like alot. I mentioned about how it will be different this time with all the Christmas stuff. He had no clue it was even decorated for the holidays. I told him I have the castle booked for Claire's b-day and it is kind of sounding like he will do it. Plus he wants to rent a car no matter what, so flying out of another airport (which isn't any cheaper right now for the most part) wouldn't make much of a difference in cost. Also if we flew out of/back to Detroit, we would actually only be getting home about 12 hours earlier. So thats not really a big deal.
It all now rests with the Dr.

We did some more talking AGAIN last night. I have priced out a few "other" options, and this trip may TOTALLY change. He even is considering going out of Columbus, which I am amazed at. He threw some other ideas too, and when I priced them, they were really decent in price, so I have to run that by him today too.
I'm not going to tell you all those ideas yet, since it may not pan out. But we have about 4 or 5 different ideas, all having something to do with 1 of the Disney parks though.

It'a yes, as long as the Dr doesn't make it impossible to do. But things may be changed now. It will either be totally changed or parts changed. And I can't beleive he even suggested some of the stuff he did. But I don't know yet what we are doing, so I'll wait till tomorrow and see. I will be mad if we can't go, but if we don't, it's because the Dr is actually doing something, and we will go later.

I'm too afraid it will all change after the Dr's appointment, so I'll wait til ltomorrow. And then see what he finally decides which trip we end up doing. Going to DL wil lbe the most expensive, because of the flight and because there dining plan is much different, we won't get that. Also we thought the Grand Canyon was only about 2 hours away from Vegas, but now that I have looked it up, it's actually 5 hours away, so that part won't happen, if we go that route, but I think we are still heading to FL at this point and time. Oh no, Jen! Sounds like ya'll might have that same bug that we had a few years back.....you know....the one that made us think about another vacation destination. Don't worry though. You can do what I did...take two aspirins, go to bed and when you wake up, you'll be back to planning a Walt Disney World vacation.

Seriously, though, I did look into other places with two of them being Disneyland and the Grand Canyon. Both ended up being really expensive for us.

I hope that everything goes well with the doctor tomorrow and you receive good news.

We try to always do something "different" during each of our Disney trips so that we won't get bored.

I will be happy, as long as we go to something Disney. But of course my origional plan is my ulitmate favorite. But I have to admit, this new thought of Skips, well both thoughts, the DL and the other are very intriguing. We will still get Disney and a little extra something special. He did suggest doing something totally different, and I vetoed that right away. But his other suggestion is something I have wanted to do for awhile, so if he is willing to go for it, I might as well take him up on it. I think we will stil lget 3 parks in at Disney, things will just be switched around, and of course all my precious ADR's will be down the tube. But we have about 22 hours before we even come to that final decision, and with him ANYTHING can change. But beleive me, I got him on the right track, and you won't be disappointed when I write a TR about any of the possibilities we are considering.

I am so nervous for you. Can't wait for Skip's news from the doctor and for his answer about your vacation. Hope Skip gets some good news from the doctor. saying prayers for you guys.
