Jen, I haven't been on the boards much the last few days but I want to wish you and Claire a magical trip. I can't wait to hear all about it when you get back!

Seriously...... I know this isn't the trip you planned. But sometimes the best things in life come as surprises, things that happen along the way while you're making other plans. I hope you encounter some much magic and can make some wonderful memories for Claire with her grandparents.

One final goodbye. I'll try to update on facebook when I can (won't be doing that on the ship though). I just have to remember to do it. I'm not used to traveling with a phone that can do more than talk.

We are in Cocoa Beach. It took a heck of a lot longer to get here.
We had a delay becasue of maitenance problems of the plane and it never came from Sanford till around 1:45 or so. (we were to leave at 1:05 origionlly)
We tookoff about 2:45. Then we came into Fl there were stoms. and they kept telling us we would land soon, then we just kept flying, and then they said we were going in from another angle....and kept flying. We could see Kennedy Space Center..Cocoa Beach and the other side of the plane saw Epcot...we seem to be just circling the area...for at least 40 mintues. Once the storms let up we could land.
I guess it had been bad. Trees are uprooted all over.
We never even got on the road till around 6:30-6:45. We did upgrade to a van...but it's costing me an arm and a leg.
That great price I had from Allegiant...not so great...they didn't add the taxes so I have about 200 more to pay on that.
We had a nice evening though.
Pool was closed. Claire was mad about that.
I slept about 3 hours. I keep worrying about getting on the ship. Hopefully tonight I sleep better.

At 5 this morning I looked out the window and what do I see...the Dream sailing in. It is HUGE! It was so pretty. The phone pictures is horrid. But I could see it perfectly from the window. Mom happened to be up going potty and I showed her and Claire woke up too, and they went back to bed...I still couldn't sleep so I showered.

I will be so much better once I get on the ship and my worries are gone.

I'm so glad you made it in safe and sound. I heard about the tornados in central FL and wondered where you were in relation to that.

Have and awesome time! I'm guessing the great part about a cruise is that you can find time to relax if you didn't sleep well heading into it. If you were heading into a Disney park, it would be entirely different.

Can't wait to hear all about it!
