Hey Jen! I haven't had a whole lot of time for the disboards lately and I still don't! But I wanted to you wish and sweet Claire an amazing trip! Take tons of pics so we can all see the great time you're going to have! I'm sure Claire will short circuit with all the excitement, heck, you might even too! Have a wonderful, wonderful time!!!

I think we are close to short circuit already! I am trying to get the house shaped up though and doing any lundry I can find to pass the time.

I have been keeping busy, but it is going so slow....

I have for my SLR 1 4G, 2 2G's and 1 1G. I am taking my laptop along to dmup pics on if/when needed. I also have 2 point and shoots (one is the waterproof camera) as well.

We are leaving the house at 10:30 and flying out at 1:05...arriving around 3:35.

Yes I have been playing that game...all week. It'sd around 5:45 here right now. Tomorrow we sould be arriving in Port Canvaveral by now if all goes smoothly.

I'm now freaking out. I stuffed my laptop in a carryon and it's REALLY heavy. I mgith send it through with a checked bag, but basically I still have WAY too much stuff. My bags are heavy. I know the bag I am taking on the cruise is around 45lbs right now. The "Disney" bag is 22ish before the laptop. I guess then I'll have to figure out what to do with the laptop when we get to the port. Should I bring it? leave it in the car with dad? Then coming home we will have MORE stuff. I'm also panicing about the rental car. We are going to be sooo jammed in it. I rented a full szie thinking we would have 3 people...3 big bags, stroller and 3 carrys ad a few personal bags. WE could fill the back seat space up. Now I have an extra person and extra bags. I hope we make it.

I am thinking you will make it work. I just can't see you letting the car size stop you! After al the trials and tribulations getting to this point... Honestly, you would be surprised what you can make fit, especially for a short period of time. Driving to the airport in December, we had 4 adults, 1 child in a large carseat, 6 suitcases, 5 carryons, and a stroller in our Honda Accord, which is a big car, but still. It was uncomfortable, but we made it work.

That makes me feel better. I talked to mom and she said if we needed something bigger she would pay for the upgrade. I don't mind so much, but I know she is one who would not like having suitcases on top of her.

I can't wait. Claire just went outside with Skip for a bit and then she will get a bath and go to bed. My favorite show..biggest loser is on shortly and I will watch that and then get ready for bed as well. I'm sure I'll be up at the crack of dawn though.

Seriously...... I know this isn't the trip you planned. But sometimes the best things in life come as surprises, things that happen along the way while you're making other plans. I hope you encounter some much magic and can make some wonderful memories for Claire with her grandparents.

Then go home and convince Skip that he has to have a vacation too. And that you'll be happy to plan the whole thing!
