Dairy Farmers Wife IS going to Disney in March/April!

Don't worry about rain, the week before our trip it was forcast to rain almost everyday! Actual rain-one night.

I have a question for you, all knowing Disney person My DH wants to switch resorts now I currently have free dining for Sept, will we lose it if we switch? Thanks,

It depends on if they availability in that room block at that resort, because for each promotion they block a certain number of rooms, and once it's gone, there is no more availability. However at most resorts it doesn't seem to be a problem. I know people wanting specific room types at Wilderness Lodge for example seem to have a lot of trouble.

When we do our short trips, we don't pay for the parkhoppers because that $54 seems like so much for the chance to hop once or twice... on our longer trips, $54 is more worth it since we have more opportunities to hop. I'd say wait till you get there.

OMG. This must have been heartbreaking for you to watch. I can only imagine. Unfortunately, its just one of those things he will have to regret later in life. It's one of life's hard lessons. Your son sounds a lot like mine. ALOT!

He's too smart (or so he thinks) right now. So it wil lhit him ina few years, I'm sure.

I'm glad to hear you had a good time at the circus. I want to do Cirque du Soleil on my next WDW vacation, which won't happen until 2012. After 10 trips I have not done Cirque nor have I ever seen Illuminations, which is another story in itself.

3 days for you! In February I was counting down until my c-section with Belle and the last week seemed to take an eternity.

My parents saw Ciirque at Disney a few years ago, and just saw one in Vegas a few weeiks ago.

Oh my gosh Jen, only 3 days!!!!! I am so excited for you!!! I have to go back and make sure I haven't missed any huge changes in past few days while I have been MIA!

Ooohh, I can't wait to check this out! I just tried here at work but it came up with the access denied screen, so I guess I will have to wait!!

It's a slow going process on that. It might be having problems today on that actualy site because I tried to post a picture of Claire's school project and it kept telling me they were doing maintenance.

You didn't hear? The BIL got better. So Skip was back in. But Claire got the chicken pox, so now it's all off. But Jen's taking it really well. She said she'd start a new pre-trip report soon.

Yes, I am at this point just going in saying we won't go to AK...and then if things change...or I decide to change, then we will do it. I think there wil lbe plenty for us to do anyways. I also thought about going to DTD before going to MK and get me some Earl of Sandwich.

The circus is such a fun way to pass a day! I always make the "no junk" rule too, and then my mom or inlaws give the kids money to buy their own.

Only 3 days, are you all packed and ready yet?

Why can't people listen to the no junk rule!! I swear my Aunt loves to get the girls junk...the more the better. Sometimes the girls (Claire's cousin ins 10 months older than her) go and spend the night there and my Aunt will push us out the door and then get them in the car and go straight to Toys R Us.

She also kept pushing the animal rides...and usually the girls love them, but my Niece decided that she no longer likes them for some reason. Claire rod the camel, but I think it wasn't as fun with out her cousin and didn't go on anymore. Which was fine, because I think those rides were like $10 each!!!!

It's exciting for me!
We leave the house at 10:30 on Wed morning. Our flight is at 1:05. I think it lands at 3:35...or something close to that.
Skips good friends wife is leaving this morning for Mexico and Skip told me to buy some groceries so they could eat good while the wives are gone. He was joking, but I still told him..go buy your own dang food if you are entertaining. Then I said...you have to entertain in the barn anyways...
I actually had asked him if he wanted me to get anything special for him a few days ago and he said no. His mom is going to cook some for him and he was going to go and buy the crap he likes to eat that I don't normally buy. LOL!

Jen - so excited for you! The last few days before vacation starts drive me nuts - I can't wait to leave but I feel like I have a million things to do before I go. I just told my husband this weekend that I want to do a Disney cruise in 2013 with a few days at Disney on either end - he just looked at me like I was crazy - that's too far in the future for him! Not me, I'm already trying to figure out costs, what days to do it, etc., (men are clueless when it comes to trip planning, except for the very few)! I know you'll have a great time!
