Thats your opinion and thats fine.
But when I regularly see video's like the one here I can only imagine what a movie maker can do with it.

He's also got another video clip taking with an older 50mm f/2 manual focus lens on that same page along with some still images.
We may see a lot of people looking for older Nikon AI prime lenses specifically to use for video. They are pretty inexpensive but still sharp pieces of glass and may lend themselves nicely for the video feature of this camera body.
I certainly would not call this anything close to bogus.
I think the naysayers should start eating their words. Those look pretty darn good. Personally, I'd love to have the capability to capture that kind of video with my dslr. Wish my D300 could do it. And this is just the first generation of this feature; the quality and functionality will no doubt improve.
