D Luxe Burger ?

Every mention of this place kept showing the same burger (below) and for the life of me I couldn't figure out the orange stuff. It looks like .... "used food" ....

But I now see on this blog post it is pimento cheese. No thanks but overall looks like a great dining option for us. LOVE a good burger and "shakes with spirits" ... please take TiW!

Honestly Disney Springs is looking like we will get all the meals we can there instead of parks/resorts.

Haha! You must not be from the south. Pimento cheese is a big thing here (so is having it on burgers), and its even better with bacon. I can't wait to try this!

What South? I have lived in ATL for 40 years. I like pimento cheese and LOVE hamburgers. I have NEVER seen it offered in a restaurant on my burger.

Even though I like it ........... it looks disgusting in that picture.

I live in ATL too and have seen it on a lot of burgers. Bocado Burger, FLIP, Fox Bros., just to name a few!

I just asked DS who goes out all over, he's never seen. But have not eaten at any of those. Bocado is close, I'll have to go look ... at other people's dishes.

Cool! We are (relatively) close to Bocado Burger too. We live in Roswell. If you want the best straight up pimento cheese (no burger involved) get it at Empire State South. Served in a mason jar with bacon jam on top and toasted bread to put it on. So good!!

And PS: I'm kind of with you on how the pimento in the picture looks - too orange.

Anytime! Cool to see a fellow "ATLer" on here. Sorry for mistaking your region before - my DH has family/ friends in MI and one of them had never had it before visiting us. She is now hooked, in part thanks to the one at ESS. Have a great weekend!

And I'm not homegrown I originate from NJ (where we ate pimento cheese) and returned there after some time in ATL .... but had to come back. Love this city!

We live in Roswell, too! Moxie Burger has a pretty good pimento cheese burger.

Grew up in the South and find pimento cheese among the nastiest stuff on the planet. Right down there with mayo and anything that swims, cooked or raw.

Pimiento cheese is about 1000 times better than mayonnaise. maybe this will be a place where it won't be a federal case to get a burger without mayonnaise.

Comment response on the Disney Parks Blog states D-Luxe will be a quick service dining location. So, no reservations. (although, another comment response says that it is not "at this time" a Disney Dining Plan-eligible location.)
