I almost missed the question...this thread is moving so fast!

And what is the score, anyway? :rotfl:

My answer is:

And just to show off:

:rolleyes1

I think that this is such a great idea!! :thumbsup2

Show off! :lmao:

;)

First of all - I LOVE the tip envelopes and Mousekeeping envelopes!! I love that you did that!!

I am just devastated by the news of that team. :sad2: So very sad.

And all of the news about what is going on all over the world - just crazy times we live in.

Glad to have done it. The searching was kinda fun!

When you count the costs of doing overseas work, it is something you always consider. In fact, I can myself actually accept that possibility over some of the other things I never thought about, and thought would never happen the way they did.

YEP!! Straight to my super secret Disney account! Why?? Because DH was willing to just walk away from it all, throw it away, pitch it. You get the idea. I made the effort- I get the cash! :woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

Right on Sista!

We just got an e-mail from our company that said one of those murdered in Afghn!!!! She was part of that Medical Team doing eye clinics there. We are so, so sad- as we had met her a few years ago in Thailand. :sad1: It is getting worse everywhere- not even the US is as safe as it once was. One day it will all be redeemed :)

:sad2: Saw this morning on the news. What a horrible tragedy.

As to question 10, I think it was... orange?

Liesa, love the tip and mousekeeping envelopes -- the tip ones are very original. :thumbsup2

Thanks, Kathy, but I can take absolutely NO credit for them. They are very talented at the DISigns forum!

Hey, you're finally asking questions from the TR that I actually KNOW where to look for the answer right off the bat!!! :yay:

My answer to the latest question in your own words is

And BTW, I missed your update about the tragedy with that team of people. Such terrible news!!! :sad1: Will say a prayer for those involved, and their families! As others have said, I can't wait to have you and your family safely out of your current circumstances!!!

YAY! An easy one for you!!

Yes, very horrible!! So sad for all the families! They all knew the dangers, but that never makes something like this any easier!

I almost missed the question...this thread is moving so fast!

And what is the score, anyway? :rotfl:

I know!! :scared1:

Not sure, have to do that tomorrow!

LOVE the idea of tate with a poncho!

Hmmn...brown capri's getting wet. May have to rethink what I am bringing.

Smelly answer is jasmine

Awful news Liesa, I am so sorry and sickened.

Cute envelopes, I am lame in this area, no fancy envelope at all. Just an envelope and note...which still need cash in them. I never carry cash, and not small bills so gathering it is a total pita! I think I have 3 "stuffed" so far. I'm down to 2 errands left for the trip and this is one of them (the other being buying coffee).

During our last trip we talked to our housekeeper (who was absolutely fantastic!) and she kind of mentioned in a nice way that a personal note would be appreciated. My guess was that this is something that they can show their managers who will then see that the housekeeper is appreciated by the guests? I also meant to send a letter to Disney commenting on the wonderful service we got from specific CMs. Supposedly this really helps those CMs :goodvibes

Ok I was behind and trying to catch up but I just keep getting more behind so I am just going to jump in here. Your trip is getting so close. I see you are down to 24 days now. :cool1::cool1::cool1:

I'm way too far behind with the contests, but your questions look like fun. I love the tip envelopes. They are so cute. I would never be organized enough to do that, but they do look like fun!

I was so out of touch this weekend with trying to get everything done to take DS17 to college this coming weekend. I had completely missed the news about the incident with the medical team until you mentioned it. I went off and read the news articles. That is indeed so tragic and senseless! Again, prayers and thoughts with the people of this group, and all the families who lost loved ones!

(BTW, I must have ninja posted you on the previous page. I expected some rebuttals, even though my posts are always tempered and well thought out....lol)

ACtually, I am embarassed to say that, once again, I am getting behind on replies again, but will catch up in the morning! It's been a terribly long day, and my feet are aching!! There's still an unbelievable amount of c.r.a.P!!! in our house for needing to move in 4 days!! :scared1: WE are now down to givng stuff away.

More in the morning....

I cashed in on some DING Fares today!!

I got my trip down another $25 bucks! And now have enough "credit" leftover to buy a full ticket - I was able to merge my SW credits into one full fare (mostly!)!

I am excited! My round trip is now $144! Which is not too bad.

I discovered your trip report about a week or so ago and have spent a lot of time reading through it. One thing I have "taken" from your report is the idea to shop "around the world". I have Disney shelves in my living room that my husband has Disney buses and other ride vehicle cars, he's also gotten a few vinylmations. I bought some "lucky cats" in Japan last year....i think I am going to look for other "critters" in the other countries to add to it. I know Mexico has beautiful little hand carved "critters". Hopefully I can find something in the others too. We will be there in November during the last week of the Food & Wine festival so we plan on spending a lot of time in Epcot. So maybe "critter hunting" will give us something to do between food booths.

I will speak for Liesa here when I say :welcome: to our pre-trip report!

Liesa is going to be pretty busy over the next few days trying to move, so she won't be on as much - but I am so glad you are hanging out with us over here!

Thanks so much for letting us know you are reading! We love posters!! :goodvibes

Critter hunting sounds like fun!

I wanna go back and shop now. We tried to avoid anyplace that had glass on our trip. :lmao:

 I bet you did! It's hard with little one's to shop in such places. Maybe you'll have to go back on an adult's only trip one day. :goodvibes

I loved the wine corks! I could seeing using one of those. The alabaster doo-dads were cute, but like you say, not very practical.

I don't know there's much of anything there that's as practical as the wine cork, and don't forget to buy yourself a yummy choclate Italian kiss. Bocci I think is how it's spelled. OH....MY....GOODNESS they are good!! I try and find them every year for stocking stuffers, not always easy to come by.

Yeah, you're probably right, pretty fragile for a keychain! Thanks for all your GREAT re-con work for us!! We are better prepared! And, I stand warned on the limincello. I like lemon, but am alraedy thinking about a Poolside Lemonade at the POR. I hear those pack plenty of punch.

Your most welcome!! It was my pleasure. :goodvibes

You'll have to let me know how the lemonade at POR is. ;)

Oh and Millie, love all the shopping pics! I gotta scope out that jewelery from Italy a bit closer!

BrookE your so welcome! It was my pleasure, I loved taking photos for this trip, I just wish I had taken more. :goodvibes

Way to go girl!! Sounds like you did a great job with your fare!! I miss our talks, hope we can talk soon. You still have my number right?

By the way Mama....are you by chance going to get a cell phone when you get back to the states and before your trip? Just curious.
