Thank you, Carole, for another great trip report. I've read most, if not all of them. I only get the opportunity to go to Orlando about every five years and reading your trip reports helps me process the changes for my trip planning for 2026. I'm generally only active on the boards during my trip planning phase so here I am again.

Carole, I always enjoy your reports, as you have so many GREAT Orlando-area recommendations. We'll be back in Orlando next year, as my husband has a conference, so I'll be looking back at your reports for off-property restaurant recommendations.

I'm so glad everything went well with Tom's surgery and that you have two trips to sunny Florida in the works for next year. I'll certainly miss your trip reports, but I understand that they must be so much work. Wishing you the very best always!

There are some very odd and very sad people out there, ignore button is a wonderful thing.

Although we’ve come to the end of the road …what an amazing trip, and an incredible run with these fabulous trip reports!

My apologies for being so late to the finale. I was away on a WDW trip, and then of course, life happened. Sigh, so it's a bittersweet ending as these TRs have been a bright spot in my day for a very long time, but I certainly understand when it's time to move on.

Carole, you are a very talented and entertaining writer, and so many people have tried new things, taken moments to slow down and enjoy, and enriched their memories based on your experience. And, of course, we must give Tom his accolades for the fabulous photography!

Thanks for the memories and for connecting this wonderful community through your thoughtful, engaging, and incredibly helpful TRs!

Maria, apologies for the late reply on the boards, you know I haven`t been logged in or posting here, apart from the TR board of course, but I didn`t like not answering people who had taken the time to post when I was told there were posts here.

Thank you so much for your lovely words, I know from our real life contact how busy you`ve been, so I do appreciate the post!!!

I will pass on your regards to my lovely husband for his photography skills, he`ll like hearing that lol We had snow yesterday and we were out a walk with him snapping pictures along the way as I`m trying to walk faster, still he enjoys it.

Thank you again, I`m so pleased you`ve enjoyed them all along the way, you know how much I enjoy the chatter along the way with everyone who posts, it`s been a pleasure.

Carole, I have enjoyed your trip reports so much over the years and will absolutely miss them!

I have learned so much from you which has helped me so much on my trips to Europe. The three most important things:

1. Fly Virgin Atlantic.
2. Fly Premium Virgin Atlantic.
3. Pack all of your clothes on hangers.

I hope we see you around! You will be very missed!

We do love flying VA and happy you enjoy flying with them too and yes, Premium is the best of both worlds.

The Dis is a fabulous source of info for so many things, I hope you find out anything you need to from here for your upcoming trip and hope it`s a fabulous trip!

I`m so glad you posted Cara, I was hoping you`d pop on at some point.

Thank you, Tom is doing well, he really has been fine since day one after the surgery lol thankfully!! Now winter is setting in here we have a Holiday trip coming up very soon and then of course Scotland for Christmas which we`re all excited for.

I`m happy to hear you will be in Orlando next year, if I do pop on the Dis again next year, I`ll make sure to send you a pm, it`s been a pleasure talking to you over the years and happy you`re doing so well. And hope you enjoy Orlando!!

I`m sorry to hear you`ve stopped doing your reports too, I do understand but yours will be missed as they were full of everything you want in a TR and it is always lovely getting to know people through them. Watching you and Andi have so much fun over the years has been a joy to read, it`s been a pleasure seeing her grow up and become independent and settled in life. All we can ask isn`t it.

I have had a family emergency happening that has taken me away from many things like the disboards. But my daughters just got away for a short Universal trip. My own next booked trip is fast approaching, and it's getting to the point where I have to decide if I can go. I have an excellent deal at Portofino and would be using the last days of my annual pass. But this quiet morning I'm just dreaming about the parks and the escape from reality.

Katie, I am sorry to hear you`re having a tough time, families are everything, so I hope things improve for you in the New Year.

Happy to hear your daughters had some time at Universal, I hope they had an amazing time. Also I do hope you manage to get on your planned trip, life does get in the way sometime. A universal trip and staying at Portofino would be lovely and do you the world of good I`m sure, fingers crossed it happens for you And yes, TR`s can be a good distraction at certain times!

I also hope you manage to have a lovely Christmas, this is one of my favourite times of year, so we are in the midst of celebrating and enjoying family time, generally just enjoying everything festive!!!
