Cypress Pointe Grand Villas - UDI points?

I have noticed that some resales at Cypress Pointe Grand Villas have a deeded week and some are listed as UDI points. Can anyone explain what UDI points are or how they are used? Can you exchange to other resorts with UDI points? How many UDI points would it take to stay 2 weeks in January at Cypress Pointe Grand Villas? Thanks for any information.
