Cypress Gardens is reopening this summer?

Does anyone have any info on this? When you go to their official website it says it's reopening as Cypress Gardens Adventure Park.

Seems like I heard that someone bought it and was reopening it. I had heard a rumor that Dolly Parton was trying for it (ie. Dollywood) but that someone outbid her or something...

when you go to their link for the wild adventure park they have in GA it seems like any other Great Adventure type place.
I find this sad. Cypress Gardens was so beautiful. DD was made over into a junion southern belle when we were there.

Cypress Gardens was bought by the owner of Wild Adventures in Valdosta, GA. Through an agreement, the original gardens will be preserved, but rides are coming. Not the kiddie rides that were at the park, but as a friend said, "now with fun!" Three coasters are coming (two kiddie, one wood) and a few other rides. They'll be going in the old parking lot area.
