CVS Weekly 9/27-10/3

Thank you so much Lanajae, I am so learning how to do great deals I can kick myself for not learning sooner.

Now let me get this right, I can only do the tide deal once per card correct?
I mean it won't print out another CRT if I do it more than once on 2 different days?

Yes, only once per card. Other sales/deals often have more than a "limit 1" but not this one.

What prints is an "ECB" or "EB" called an extra buck (money you can spend at the store). CRTs are other types of coupons for various items.

I must have missed out on the coupon for the vaseline because I can't find it no where

Yes, the print limit was reached for the Vaseline. It was an online coupon and whenever you see a coupon available for an upcoming sale, print it right away as each company only allows so many to be printed. Flaky puts the links to online coupons next to the sale items in the list here each week.

This is a silly question....Im new to CVSing (today is my first try at it actually) and Ive been coupon clipping for about a yr now, my question is, is there a maximum amount of man. coupons you can use at one purchase? I have several I was going to use today. Usually I have a couple to use at a time, just want to maximize my savings.

Not at CVS so use as many as you want - they used to have the registers set to not accept more than about 8 of one kind, but now they will take unlimited of the same. CVS is probably the most coupon-friendly chain store around. Hope your shopping trip goes great today!

flakypuff - were you looking for Enfamil or Similac coupons? I can't remember. I have 6 of those $5 Enfamil from the paper.

WOW you have some memory:thumbsup2 It WAS the Enfimil but they switched the formula and now its Similac... S000:rolleyes1if anyone has any Similac coupons they dont need I will be happy to take them off your hands. I will even trade for them..just ask.

Will someone please tell me how they are able to use the $5/$25 Q more than once? :confused3

There are instructions either ealier in this thread or last weeks and I'll try to explain what someone else already posted and I hope I explain it correctly. When you are on the CVS site right click and go to settings and slide the bar to 0 and hit OK, and then slide it back to 100 and hit ok again, retake the survery and it will print you an additional coupon with a different bar code, do this for every coupon you want to print.

DD got something in the mail yesterday from Similac so hopefully that is coupons. If so, I will PM you. She uses Enfamil for her DS so they would be of no use to her. When she was pregnant, I signed her up for everything not knowing what formula her Dr would use. When the mail comes, she says " oh, look what I signed up for now!" :lmao:

Anyone know if there is a coupon out now for gift card with a new prescription? I have google searched it and can't find anything. Do you know if all CVS stores will accept competitor coupons on new scripts? Hate to say it, but I hate to even fill a script without these anymore.. :rotfl2:

Guess I better get out the crowbar I need for my wallet...:lmao:

Does she use the type that those $5 coupons are for? If so, I will send them to you.

Great trip!!

I did the Miralax for my son with some clearance stuff, thanks for reminding me to get that!:

$18.99 Miralax
-5.00 mfg.
-2.00 CRT
-1.00 Minute Clinic booklet coupon (no beeps using that and CRT)
$6-something Mighty Putty at 75% and some other junk husband wanted
-5.00/$25 Flu quiz
(earned $2 extra buck)

I might do it again on the other card because I got the same CRT on both and I've got another coupon booklet.

Everyone check their clearance for a box called "Photo Stamps" - they are 75% off and ring up at $5 each. It's a certificate to use online to make your own stamps (20) with any pic you want to upload and they ship them to you free. I've done them before using the same package on clearance at Walgreens for $10.99, they are really cool and the stamps alone are worth $8.80 - I got 5 packages and used a $5/25.

The covergirl coupons expired Sept. 30. Check with your store to see if they take expired ones?

I didn't see what the covergirl coupons were in the Oct. P&G. But check this month's out too.

Maggie

DD opened the Similac mail last night. It was an information booklet, but no coupons were in it. Sorry to get your hopes up but I will keep looking!:flower3:

On the subject of out of date coupons, I used a RR at Wags yesterday with an expiration date of 9/15. They never even questioned it, but just scanned it and it went right on through. I was happy--it saved me $5!!

I've created a monster!!!

I bought those Jack Beef Jerky things last week (the week before??) when they were BOGOF and there was a BOGOF coupon. I bought the tenderloin bits or whatever they were called. Well last night, my DD14 was standing there looking in the pantry and said, "I wish we had more of those beef jerky things."

Did you see the regular price on those!!!! And there were maybe 10 bits in the bag.

Maggie
