CVS Weekly 9/27-10/3

I know someone on here uses Miralax. I just read this scenario on hotcouponworld and thought I would post it here.

"I figured out a great deal on miralax. My son goes through this stuff. buy 1 miralax and 1 vaseline lotion and total is 26.98 minus the 5/25, the $1.00 cvs coupon and $5 mfg coupon and 1.00 cvs and 1.50 mfg coupon for miralax and you pay about 13.48 and get back 9 ecb's . That's a great deal for that stuff." from maryccc

What a lame week!!! All I got was the Vaseline. Boring!

Does anyone know if Thanksgiving is going to be as good as it was last year? We've got different plans this year and I may be out of town. I need to be ready either way! LOL

I haven't seen anything yet, but I am counting on it! Last year Rite Aid did a huge sale on cold/flu products in October and they are doing it again this year so I don't see why CVS wouldn't do the Thanksgiving sale!

I did the P&G deal and I was very pleased with my haul! My store had $1 off Q's for the Tide Stain Release stuff, so I got three of those and used 3 Q's!

Just back from CVS!! Did the Covergirl deal using $1off c/os, 4/20 and ecbs !!Hev some great stocking stuffers !!Also did the candy sale for halloween treats, and used ac/o and with ecbs wa 47c!! I also did pretty good at Walgrens and RiteAid this week !

Can someone please tell me how do I get started with getting these great deals? Do I have to sign up to get a card? Can I do it online or do I need to go tn the store? Thank you

I'm pretty sure that you can use it right away. I'm also looking to do the Tide deal. Make sure you do the Flu survey for $5 off $25. The link is provided earlier in this thread.

Just to make sure do you give the cashier the 5.00 off coupon first then the manufacture coupons?

No, anyone can take it....it is not linked to your card.

The order most of us pay is $X/$XX coupons, CRTs, Mfq coupons, ECBS, OOP (hopefully as little as possible!).

Thank you so much puffkin, i'm just starting out with the CVS card and coupon so i'm trying to gather as much information as I can.

can you tell me what CRT's stand for please

I had my first issue with coupon order this week. A cashier insisted that he should ring each coupon after each item it was for and then he'd take the 5/25 at the end. A supervisior was standing there and agreed it was correct. Of course, this ran up my OOP and I had to add some extra items.

Even after they did that, the coupon wouldn't have beeped. It "knows" your order was over $25. The only issue you would have is if the cashier would say "You don't have $25."

If you want, you can call corporate and have them talk to the store. 1800shopcvs

When I go up to the cashier. I only have my cvs card and my $5/25 (or whatever) out. I let them ring up everything. Make sure they scan that coupon. And then I say "Oh yeah I have a few more coupons." And I hand over my regulars. I don't see why the computer wouldn't remember about your total being over the right amount. But I never want to risk it. And then when they are done scanning. I say "Oh good I have some extra bucks too!" It helps to always play a little dumb in my experience! I have had a few cashiers look at me and say "Oh do you have more coupons" or something. But I still just hand them the way I want. Or I'll say. I only have extra bucks left I'll wait and see what the total is. And then I try to avoid that cashier next time!!!:rotfl:

Thanks for the Tide ideas! It's so hard to find Tide really cheap. I "borrowed" cards from my whole family, and I'm swimming in Tide and Dawn! Don't ask me why they wouldn't do the deal for themselves:confused3

Is anyone planning on doing the Monsters vs Alien deal? I've been waiting for free Powerade coupons from cokerewards for 2 weeks and it still says processing - I wish you could still print the coupons instantly. Target has the movie for $15.99, so at CVS, with the 5/25, I'm thinking I could get 6 12 packs and the movie for $22. Anyone know of any coupons that match up for this deal? TIA

I was one of them, that's a great deal, I wish I would've waiting on the Vaseline but I bought it on Saturday not knowing about the Miralax coupon. I might get it at Walgreens instead this week - I really stocked up that one time thanks to the coupons from you and friend here - thanks again! I have a bunch of the $5 now so I should get some more.

Welcome to the wonderful world of CVS! CRT means Cash Register Tape coupon. Coupons print either on your receipt or from self-scanning machines, but it takes a while for them to start printing after you get a card, usually about 2 mos. of regular shopping. Be sure to create an account online after you get your card and it might speed up the process of getting coupons from the store. You can use one store coupon and one manufacturer coupon per item.

I think I might do it tomorrow and get 4 bags of candy to use for Halloween. I was going to buy it for my youngest for part of her birthday present anyway, it's a cute movie, we saw it in the theater.

I don't know of any coupons to use, I just figured if I was going to spend $16 on it anyway, I might as well spend $20 (after $5/25) and have all that candy too.

flakypuff - were you looking for Enfamil or Similac coupons? I can't remember. I have 6 of those $5 Enfamil from the paper.
