Cvs weekly 6/13-6/19

Went to CVS last night, after 4 trips thru the register using 2 cards here is my haul:

2 Old Spice Body Wash
2 Gillette Body Wash
7 pks 5 gum
1 pk Stride Gum
5 PowerBars
1 Biore Pore Strip
1 Biore Make-up Remover Cloths
2 Diet Coke
2 Pop-Tarts
1 Caramel (There's a story behind this )
1 Schick Hydro


I didn't use that many coupons:
B1G1 Old Spice (-$4)
B1G1 Gillete (-$5.29; different cashier so she used price before sale )
$4 on 2 Gillette (Handed this one over by accident as I was debating this vs the B1G1 because of the expiry dates but she put it thru)
$1 2 Diet Coke
$5 Schick
$.50 Stride
$1 PopTarts
$7.99 Biore B1 strips G1 Cleanser (Thanks Flaky!)
and a ton of ECB including the expired $2 ECB from the scanner last week.

I ended up with the 5 Gum and Caramel so I could use the ECB combinations that I had. I went there on the fly or else I would have been more careful and worked more deals with the coupons. Oh, Well, at least the 5 was on sale.

Total OOP $3.92. and I have about $15 worth of ECB now so I'm good for my next trip.

so, wait, can you earn ecb's from both the old spice bodywash (which i did already) AND the gillette body wash? i had thought it was either/or, but I will go back today if i can use my bogo gilllette coup and earn 8 more ecbs...

Do you think the Fusion sets with shaving gel will produce the ECB? And they have a larger set with other items, too.

According to the report on IheartCVS it does work.

I'm bummed. I didn't get the Gillette Razor coupon.

Yes, but please note I used 2 different cards. I have one in my name and one in DH's name. Which is why I was able to get 5 powerbars too (three power bars at 99 cents w/99c ECB back is a monthly deal).

okay, so you did NOT do both types of bodywash one just one card? I know they both produce ecb, but i had thought if you got one brand then you could not get the other, as well, on the same card, that is...you know, like, pick one or the other but not both?

I don't think you can do both on the same card but receipt says offer limit reached but it only specifies Old Spice and the other specifies Gillette offer limit reached. So you could try it and return them if it doesn't work. At this point I have so much body wash we're swimming in it, but I can't resist a deal especially a MM.

I got both kinds of body wash on one card yesterday without a problem.

I bought two of the Gillette Body Washes yesterday on one card and used a coupon for B1G1F and still got $8.00 in ECB's.

I bought the $50 gift card for Sears to use at K-Mart, that worked like a charm, but it about killed me to spend $50 actual dollars at CVS I was standing there and my receipt wouldn't print and then I'm finally told I have to sign the machine and I looked like a deer in headlights and said, "what? I've never had to sign at CVS!"

Very new to all of this!! I bought the cover girl make up last week and cereal last week. I ended up with 2 $5 extra bucks plus an additional $5 off $15. Well, today, I went to buy the body wash, fiber one bars and some shampoo. They wee out of the body wash, but I got my shampoo, fiber one bars and some movie candy (for the free movie passes to Toy Story 3 thanks to pop tarts and kelloggs).
My total was $15.34. I gave the cashier my $10 extra bucks and the $5 off $15--although when I gave it to her I saw it was expired (she still took it). I paid .34!!!!

How cool was this. I am going to search for the body wash at another store tonight.

I love this game!!!!
