Cvs weekly 6/13-6/19

I stole this great idea from another board. Sears $50 gift cards are $10 ECB back. If you are getting portraits done there anytime soon, you can use a Sears gift card for that. Also, Sears gift cards are accepted at Kmart if you shop there often.

They are also accepted at lands' end.

This week there is a father's day promo, if you spend $50 in men's apparel and then send off for the rebate you get another $50 coupon only good for men's apparel but still if the men in your life need clothing that's $100 worth of clothing for $40 if you count getting the $10 in ecbs.

The rebate form is on the sear's website when you click the "dad rules" picture. Clothes must be purchased by June 20. Hubby needs clothes so I got my gift cards and I'm doing the rebate.

I found the fusion gamers on clearance for $5.99 but didn't buy any, I prefer them free instead of cheap :).

-Gillette fusion ProGlide Power or Manual Razor $9.97 Get $5 EB limit 2 5/30-6/26 (limit 1 deal per transaction end date 6/26 per cvs.com)

Do you think the Fusion sets with shaving gel will produce the ECB? And they have a larger set with other items, too.

I looked on the other sites to see if anyone posted and didnt find anything - if the codes on the UPC are the same, they will, but most are a bit different -try it if you dare LOL

I saw this deal and was going to do it. But, there's some debate about using a gift card as payment and qualifying for this rebate. According to Hot Coupon World, some people have been told by Sears that a gift card is considered "a promotional payment" and not eligible for this rebate. You may want to confirm with your local store.
I still might buy the gift cards and use them for Lands End as you suggested. Getting the gift card for $10 off is a great deal.

It worked at Walgreen's. On Sunday June 13, I bought the Fusion Proglide Kit with Razor and mini cooling lotion, face scrub and body wash (I'm not sure if this is the same combo you were looking at?). The barcode is 047400502215, it said "up to $12 value" on the label and was on a display near the cosmetics. It scanned at $9.89, I used my $4 coupon, paid $5.89+tax and got a $5 register reward.

Did a quick emergency trip today - oldest DS crashed his bike and we needed BIG bandaids (He's fine just road rash, but it was messy :sad2: ) While I was there since the line was 20 people long I grabbed the Right Guard. I was able to get two for 29 cents. They took the $3 on two coupon on the regular right-guard even tho it says Total defense 5. :thumbsup2

Question about the Schick rebate...is says up to 10.99 rebate, but what form of 'rebate' do you get it in? Schick coupons or do they cut a check??

You'll get a check in the mail for the purchase price ($8.97 at CVS this week). It comes in 6-8 weeks. I usually have forgotten all about the rebate by the time it arrives , so for me it's a pleasant surprise in the mail .

:goodvibes Thanks to everyone for their ideas....this is what I was able to do:
PS...the dial and right guard deal is awesome!
Dial mens body wash $3.50 used $1 coupon on dial body wash
Right Guard Deoderant $4.49, got 2, it was BOGOF and used a coupon 'buy any dial body wash, get deoderant free' so got another $4.49 off, making both deoderants free and got $1 off the body wash, was also able to use $1 off one of the items above, but cant remember which one :confused3 but it went through without beeping. Did the General Mills cereal deal, 3/$10, used 2 coupons for a total of $1.55 off and bought the fusion razor for $9.97, had $4 coupon on that and found some Gillette shampoos on clearance for $2.34, used 2 $1 coupons...total OOP was $2.78 and got back $9 in ECBS :rotfl2:

Ouch! Poor kid.

Thanks.

He's much much better this morning. It was mostly bloody scrapes; shallow but they covered a lot of area.

He's mostly just bummed because his grade is having their field trip to the lake today for a BBQ and to swim. We told him he can't go swimming because he might get an infection; there are a LOT of geese and their residual stuff in the water :scared:. Personally, I can't stand swimming there but the kids like it :rolleyes1.

Schick Hydro Razor $8.97 $5.00 coupon plus $4 ECB and a Rebate form
Pantene Curl mousse $3.99 - saved $4
Purex 3 -n- 1 detergent $7.99 and B1G1

Spent $51.69 Saved $33.19 and got $16 in ECB :woohoo:

Very new to all of this!! I bought the cover girl make up last week and cereal last week. I ended up with 2 $5 extra bucks plus an additional $5 off $15. Well, today, I went to buy the body wash, fiber one bars and some shampoo. They wee out of the body wash, but I got my shampoo, fiber one bars and some movie candy (for the free movie passes to Toy Story 3 thanks to pop tarts and kelloggs).
My total was $15.34. I gave the cashier my $10 extra bucks and the $5 off $15--although when I gave it to her I saw it was expired (she still took it). I paid .34!!!!:cool1:

How cool was this. I am going to search for the body wash at another store tonight.

I love this game!!!!

Anyone from IL having trouble using the coupons that were on the front page to today's Chicago Tribune?

I went today and tried to use the spend $20, get a free 12-pack of Pepsi along with the $5 off of $10 summer merchandise and the $3 off of CVS brand items. The clerk told me that I could only use one. :confused3

I had about $50 worth of merchandise in my cart. I wanted to use the summer mdse coupon on 2 "noodle chairs" for the pool, the CVS brand on 2 bottles of sun screen and the free Pepsi because even after all of my coupons, my total would have been over $20.00.

I left the Pepsi there as well as the noodle chairs but needed the sunscreen for or trip to Hawaii next month.

The explanation that she gave me is that the coupon says that it can't be combined with any other offer. To me, that means that you can't use 4 of the summer mdse coupons to purchase the $40 swimming pool. Not that you can't use each of the coupons with qualifying merchandise.
