Cvs weekly 6/13-6/19

Just opened a CVS 1 mile from my house :cloud9: Can you use ECB on items that you get more ECB on?

Yes you can, as long as the limit is more than one. An easy example is the June monthly deal of Power Bar Pure & Simple energy bar (limit 3)

You can buy one for 99 cents. Earn 99 cent extra buck. Get another, pay with your extra buck from the first one, get another and pay with the extra buck from the second and leave the store with 3 bars and a 99 cent extra buck (and you've spent 99 cents).

Oooh. Not a bad week and I will be gone on our cruise. :sad2: Maybe there will be a CVS near our hotel and I can pick one up on Sunday on the way to the cruiseport?? I think I will bring my Gillette BOGOF coupon and my CVS card just in case. And maybe the limit will be more than one and it will be a MM!

Have fun this week guys!

Maggie

I hope you have a wonderful cruise!!

Does anyone have an idea how I can get my hands on the P&G circ. from 6/6? It's killing me to miss these bargains!

Coupons are sold on ebay or there are coupon trading sites like hot coupon world. I'm not sure if there any other options, I'm hoping one of the experts will have a better answer :teacher:.

I have been known to go begging from neighbors.. or I send my kids to do it :rotfl2:

I am very fortunate when it comes to the coupons in the Sunday paper! I have my set, my mother gets two papers and passes her coupons on to me (she does take some of them first but since she lives alone, she doesn't use many). I also get my grandmother's after my mother goes through them. And my brother's family passes on their coupons to me since I supply them with body wash, shampoo and toothpaste in exchange for scrounging a meal now and then when I am in their area for work!

Off to CVS today. Making my list as soon as I finish waking up. I know I am doing the body wash, not sure what else I'll do this week. I have quite a few ECB's from last week.

And of course now that Rite Aid is doing the + Ups, I have to pay attention to their ad too. My mother tells me that the body wash is free there this week too but I'm not sure if it is + Up or the regular mail in rebate. I guess I am fortunate that my neice's boy friend actually likes the men's body wash. Before she had him, I used to have to donate the men's stuff!

I stole this great idea from another board. Sears $50 gift cards are $10 ECB back. If you are getting portraits done there anytime soon, you can use a Sears gift card for that. Also, Sears gift cards are accepted at Kmart if you shop there often.

Just got back from CVS...I got 2 Old Spice body washes using a BOGO coupon, and it printed out 8 ECB's at the end of my receipt!! :cool1:

I am going to be using many expired coupons today so much of what I buy won't help anyone else. I got an emailed $5/30 coupon. If you didn't get one, but your store will take them anyway, there's a list here (have to be printed today): http://delicious.com/er1ca/iheartcvscoupons.

Are you using expired manufacturer's coupons or expired CVS ones? If mfr's, how expired are they? I have some that expired 5/31 and could kick myself ror not using them. Grrrrr!!

Glad you posted, I just came to see if anyone else noticed it - if someone really needed body wash (not any of us LOL), someone could use the BOGO Old Spice and the BOGO Gillette and end up with 4 free after extra bucks.

I was using expired mfgs., the oldest was from April.

Stores have 6+ mos. to send them in for reimbursement after the expiration date. Our CVS is really good about it and so is one grocery store here, but Walgreens and the other major grocery chain won't take them if they are even one day past the date, which is totally ridiculous as they'd get the reimbursement - they just don't want to take coupons at all, there's no logic to their doing this.

Today I bought:

2 Reeses Puffs cereal, 1 Total cereal, 3 Old Spice body washes, 3 Axe body washes, 2 Axe scrubs, 2 Colgate Wisps, 1 Schick Hydro razor, a $15 iTunes giftcard, 1 CoverGirl Amazemint WetSlick, 1 Dove chocolate bar, 1 candy, plus I donated $2 to ALS.

I was laughing because the cashier told me that someone had just done the Colgate Wisp deal using the same coupons I used - I knew it had to have been ShiPoo!

!

Not here. One only, as the adv. reads :(

Your receipt says "offer limit reached" after you get the $8 ECBs for the two body wash.

This was one of my best CVS deals ever. Not only did I use the BOGOF, but I also had a coupon machine one for $2/$6 body wash purchase. So CVS paid me $6 to take two body washes! My youngest son goes through it like crazy, and I encourage my college student to "shop" in my CVS stash for body wash, razors and toothpaste.

:lmao: Nope, it wasn't me! I went yesterday because I had one of those free $2ECB'S from the scanner that said good for three days only so I didn't want to risk them not taking it.

I got two Old Spice BW and paid $3 each as that was the sale price through yesterday. Had a BOGO coupon but the ECB's didn't print so the cashier issued two $3 ECB's for me so I was plenty happy.

I also got 3 GM cereals and used a .75 mfg. Q and a $1.00/2 mfg. Q on them and the ECB's didn't print again!! :scared1: So this time the cashier issued a $5 ECB for me. :confused3

I also bought three Stride gum which were b2 g1 free but I had a mfg. Q for BOGO so I paid $1.29 for three packs of Stride. (Thanks, Flaky, for that idea!) I got the new Mandarin Orange flavor and really like it.

Finally I had a scanner tape for $1 off an allergy product so I got two of the purse size CVS tissues for free.

I had to get a raincheck for the Windex/Scrubbing Bubbles deal.

You did good! All the Windex/Scrubbing Bubbles was wiped out a week before, we may have some major competition over there and now I'm wondering who it is?! I was still able to do the Glade/Windex etc. deal because I had a bunch of $1 off scented oil refills (they were from inside Glade products).

A couple of weeks ago when they had the Old Spice Bodywash on the same deal I bought 2 Old Spice Bodywash and one Deodorant. I was able to use the BOGO Bodywash coupon and the buy Bodywash get Deodorant free coupons in the same transaction. the best part is the deal turned in to a $1.49 MM as they did the Bodywash coupon at full price.

ETA - It probably helped that I had a teenager working the register.

That is what happened to me too! So CVS basically paid me $4 to take two body washes that I will end up giving away. I didn't know about it in advance or I might have just gotten four free body washes to give away.

I also did the cereal. I had a $1 off three coupon that I used. And I did the BOGOF Right Guard - I had two $1 coupons I used. I still paid a little over a dollar each but they had the kind my daughter likes. All in all, not a bad trip.

I did this today:
2 Right Guard
2 Gillette Bodywash
1 Schick Hydro
2 Pop Tarts
1 Rice Krispee Treats

used $3 Right Guard printable, BOGO Gillette coupon, $1 Pop Tart coupon, $5 Schick Hydro coupon, $2/$6 bodywash CRT, and some ECBs. Paid $1.57 oop and got back $12 in ECB.

I don't see the Old Spice/Gillette body wash in my ad. I was hoping to get some for my nephews.

I haven't heard of a different ad for anywhere else - there's a few versions, but all have it - the picture is of Old Spice (red bottle/3X), it's on my back page with the Schick Hydro and General Mills cereal deal in a column in red.

I read the ad front and back 3x and wasn't on there. I even looked on the website to look through the ads and nothing. I'm in N. CA if that makes a difference. I'm going to see if it's in the stores.

Also did the Old Spice deal and surprised to get $8 ECB. Gotta love that kind of surprise.

I found and ECB that expired May 25 and cashier would not take it. After some arguing I asked her to call for a manager. She had to use the phone to talk to her but manger said to tell me they would take it this one time. :rotfl2: That was cool with me just as long as I don't loose money. And manager did not see me anyway to know who it was. :cool1:
