Cvs weekly 3/7-3/13

Ok.. I had 10 ECBs today. I got 2 of the hair dyes (sadly I really needed them) and they were $5. (Had $5 off 2 Q)

Then I had a raincheck for the Quatro and a $4 coupon for that, so it was $5 also. Used my $10 ECBs, paid the tax, and got 5 ECBs back.

I want to roll these in the cereal deal but they only had 2 kinds of the cereal in that I wanted. Can I get those 2 boxes at the beginning of the week and the other 2 later somewhere else and still get the ECBs or does it all have to be done in one transaction? If CVS says "4 for $10" are they 1 for $2.50 or do you need to buy 4 to get that price?

I just started doing this and it's FUN!!

It is fun and sort of like a treasure hunt, isn't it? :lovestruc

You don't have to buy all four at once. At the bottom of your receipt it will show how many you bought and how many you need to complete the deal. Just make sure you complete your purchases this week if they have stock on hand. Yes, if you buy just one today, it will charge you $2.50. If your store runs out and doesn't get more stock in by Saturday, be sure to ask for a raincheck that reflects how many you've bought and how many you need to buy to earn your ECB's. What you bought this week won't show up on next week's receipt. Also rainchecks never expire so you can complete the deal and get your ECB's two or three weeks or months from now. (Just an example!) It also tells you at the bottom of your receipt if you've reached your deal limit. The ad tells you what the limit is but sometimes CVS changes the limit after the ad is printed. I think Flaky said the limit for Kelloggs is now more than one deal.

You can the same one on both cards. That is what I do :thumbsup2

I usually don't do back to back transactions at the same CVS, but if you do they will probably only scan the tag once but YMMV. I go to two different CVS (do the deals on my card at one, then drive down the street and do the deals there on my other card) so I have no problems using it for both cards.

Thanks, puffkin! :goodvibes

I have a small CVS on my way home from work which is convenient but not very well stocked. I love the non expiring rain checks as often there is a better week to use the deal anyway. :)

I almost felt bad today when I got $20 worth of stuff for $1.50 and then got 5 ECBs back, but the clerk just smiled..

:lovestruc OT has anyone seen Lanajae?:confused3

:confused3 The last time I heard from her she said they had spring break coming up (but I can't remember when ....) and she said she was taking the heavy duty meds for her illness but was not up to speed. I sure miss her! :grouphug:

Hmm thanks. I know whe said her and her DH were going away for a little R&R maybe that is this week...so here we all are worried about her and she is using her case of Yours and Mine she bought with her ECB:lmao:

I was thinking the same thing....I bet we will get some more product reviews ;):rotfl:

Hi guys! I haven't been CVSing in quite a while so I had to get back in it this week with $5 EB expiring tomorrow.

I went last night and I think I did pretty good.

$10 4 boxes of Raisin Bran (we always need cereal)
$4 Oral-B Toothbrush

-$1.50/2 Raisin Bran coupon
-$1.50/2 Raisin Bran coupon
-$5 EB

$6.00
$.24 tax
-$3.37 Left on Money Card

$2.87 OOP....Not too shabby!
$9.00 EB earned
$6.13 MM!!

I plan on going back tonight and getting the Nivea Lip Care and the Venus Razor. With coupons and EB's from last night, my OOP should be less than $1.

:thumbsup2 Did you have a coupon for the Oral B?

:thumbsup2 Did you have a coupon for the Oral B?

No I didn't. I think those Oral B coupons came out when MD was POUNDED by snow in February and I didn't get a paper. I have the B1G1 from this week, but I should have tried it anyway. :rotfl2:

This is a decent week, now I wish I didn't cash all my ecbs out a few weeks ago when the sales were crap.

My girls have head lice so I haven't been online ugh. I got the listerine, that was a good deal.

So sorry bout the head lice - been there done that :laundy::laundy::laundy: The only good thing was with boys you can shave their head and get away with it. :upsidedow

It will get better.

I think we are good now. I hope at least...I hate to say it out loud. I'm more afraid to send them back to school and end up with them again. There is a big problem at the school :(.

Thanks :)

I'd suggest keeping their hair in braids pinned on their heads if you can and don't let them on the bus - that's where my kids got it - no one in their classes had it but the kids on the bus did and of course the bus drivers don't care if they're trading hats, etc.

Back to CVSing....CVS had coupon peelies on the Coke case last night - free Reese's PB cups with the purchase of a 20 oz coke product. I was there for playtex so I was in heaven - free chocolate. :woohoo: :rolleyes1 :rotfl2:

The lady in front of me at checkout yesterday had 2 cokes...then I got up to the register and noticed they had that tearpad sitting right there! I almost called the lady back to get her 2 free Reeses!

Be careful with the easter candy on the $10 deal. I went tonight and oldest DS was with me. I was going to get the Reeses and something else, but he really wanted the York patties. The York patties were with the easter candy but the bag wasn't marked as "easter" candy and it didn't count toward the $10 total. I can't complain too much though - 4 trips thru the register yielded the following for a total of $25 OOP and $20 in ECB.

Venus Embrace
Olay Body Wash - Free with Purchase of Venus Embrace - was also able to use $2 Embrace coupon - the coupon doesn't have a max so I was able to get the extra large size that cost $8.99
3 packs 5 Gum
3 packs Peeps
1 CVS Egg Shaped Gum
York Peppermint Patties
Lindt Truffles (These counted toward the $10 in Easter Candy as did the 5 Gum
Reese's Easter PB Cups
Ocean spray Cranberry Juice
2 20 oz Cokes
2 Reeses PB Cups
1 Gallon Milk
Protractor
Generic Prescription
2 Oral B Cross Action
Nivea Lip Balm
Apple Jacks
Fruit Loops
2 Poptarts

That was the weekend they came out. When we got plowed out the next day I was asking for newspapers at the stores and nobody had been open for them to be delivered.

I order 12 full inserts of all 3 different ones that week. It is terrible not to get your coupons.
