Thank you! Doesn't look too exciting, but hopefully some good scenarios will pop up. Around this time last year, wasn't CVS doing the free after ECB pumpkins, glow sticks, etc.? We just took the last of those glow sticks to Disney with us!

This is going to be a HUGE week for Rite Aid, so I am kind of hoping for a slower CVS week. Sorry guys ;) Thanks for being so early again Flaky. You are the best :goodvibes

Is there a list for Rite Aid anywhere out yet? :confused3

If you go on iheartriteaid.com the flyer is posted for next week. She usually has them up a few weeks in advance. It is their annual flu/cold event.....

Thanks for the early preview.

Not much looks good to me. The only thing I might look into is the Gillette stuff. I could stock up on shaving gel. But I will have to see what coupons are out there to see if I can make a good deal.

That's ok. I leave for Disneyland on the 15th!!! :cool1:

Puffkin, how does Rite Aid work, such as ECBs or RRs? This has probably been discussed already, sorry :(

Thanks again for the list, Flaky! :goodvibes

It's a monthly rebate check program (you can submit your receipts online but only request a check once for the month).

I have used it for years and have never had a problem getting my $$.

Hope that helps!

Yes...it is actually really easy. It only takes seconds to submit your receipts on line and then at the end of the month you request your check. I have a credit card that I only use for Rite Aid. When the rebate check comes I pay the bill and I usually break even or am a $1 or $2 off (sales tax usually). I like Rite Aid because I don't have to break my transactions down into smaller ones so I can pay with prior transaction ECB's. I also like that I don't get large ECB's back to use (like this past week if you did 6 Revlon in the same transaction you got an $18 ECB). No worries about expiring ECBs and things like that. September was a slow month at Rite Aid....but I didn't have to worry about anything expiring on me or need to burn bucks....

The only down side is you have to pay for your items up front. I hope this helps!

Thanks flaky - love you and all you do for us!

I sure hope I can get back in the store on a routine basis soon - I am going to have to splurge this week and do the Axe deal for my 13 year old son, he seems to take those commercials seriously and is hoping to land a girlfriend by shampooing, bodywashing and spraying Axe on every inch of his body :rotfl2:.

So, I've never done this but we have a BRAND NEW store that opened here this past Monday.
What do I need to do first? Go in the store & get signed up with a card?
I want to transfer my RX this weekend as I did get a $25 gift card transfer thingy in the mail yesterday.

How do the ECB work, they are buck's you use towards a purchase later? If there is a seperate post explaining it all out just point me there ;0)
Thanks!

Lucky you, brand new stores are awesome! If they have a grand opening, be sure to go because usually you get some good freebies/deals during the first week. I wish I knew how to post a link because there are good CVS starter links but I'm a computer idiot and don't have any idea how to do it. Sorry! :confused3

First get a card and register your email so eventually they will start sending you $/$$ email offers. I just got a $5/30. Sometimes they're $3/15 or $4/20, etc. Be sure to transfer that Rx for the $25 gc. That will give you a great head start because most CVSer's have to put out about $20 for their initial purchase. Then you can start "rolling" ECB's on items you will find advertised as such in their weekly ads. :thumbsup2

The ECB's will print on the bottom of your receipt and you can use them for whatever you want with a few exceptions (not on gift cards, Rx's, and a couple other things?? Tobacco maybe?) Be sure to not throw them out with your receipt. If you can combine a sale price, a mfg. coupon, (and/or a CVS coupon) along with ECB's you can wind up paying only for sales tax on your purchase. It's even possible to make money depending on the sale price, your coupons, and the cashier's approach. Believe it or not, not all the cashiers are friendly and happy when you put your purchases on the counter. Some are wonderful though and love it when you only have to pay for the sales tax. In the good ol' days, I remember walking out the door paying only 4 cents for a couple bags of goodies. Doesn't happen much anymore now that CVS changed their system, but it's still a good deal and fun to figure out the deals. :cool1: Pretty soon you will have a great stockpile of toothpaste, shampoo, deodorant, etc.

Oh I remember those wonderful days. :lmao:

I was going to post this on the Budget Board but thought I would try here first, can any of you use some Enfamil Premium with Triple Health Gaurd $5.00 off coupons? They expire on 11-30-09. I have quite a few, enough to pass around if anyone is interested. Let me know and I will try to get them in the mail to you tomorrow!
