CVS ECB deals - Sales for Week 8/19-8/25

I know!!!!!!!!!!! Don't they know that I NEED yet another tube of toothpaste????????? LOL (*note the sarcasm*) LOL

OMG I have only been at this maybe 2 months and there is no telling how many tubes of toothpaste even I have. I cannot imagine what kind of stock pile all of you have. Maybe you should post some pics of stock piles for us.

I just applied some of the artificial toenails from this week. They look pretty good. Lot better than my unpedicured feet. lol

The order from EBay for the gum coupons is not here so I am waiting on them for my next trip.

They had the Mentadent in the two stores where we looked for it but it was clearly being clearanced out. One store had it marked down to 1.69 and the other was .87 cents. ECBs didn't print out for them but since they allowed us to use $2 off coupons and they had to pay us to take them.. I didn't mind too much :rotfl:

Did they actually take the whole $2 off each one or just the cost of the item? All my CVSs will only take up to the cost of the item off.

Both stores took the entire $2 off of the purchase at the end. She didn't even notice until she got home and was looking at the receipt.

Did anyone find the Viva paper towel offer in their store. We went to three stores to get it and none of them had any. The last store the manager gave us a 8 pack of Bounty for the price of the Viva minus the $2 ECB we would have gotten

I have yet to go to CVS this week! :scared1:

On a side note - another Shaws deal but check your own grocery store or Target for this as well!

French's Potato Sticks - single size canister - think 1/2 size of a pringles can - are .55 at Shaws. There are .25 off ANY French's Potato Stick Coupons out that expire 9/30 so .05 each if your stores double (mine do up to .99!) I grabbed 1 as I had 1 coupon on me but I got a lot from ebay and will stock up and use them in the kiddos lunches for an extra snack in addition to other things.

At the CVS in Severn, MD today they had the Viva papertowels. There are 2 CVS's very close to me here. One will usually have everthing you want and the other you will find about half the items in stock.

I think I drove by that CVS on Sunday and thought, hmmmmm, a 2nd CVS to go to if I can't find what I need at my other one!

They had the Viva papertowels out in the middle of an aisle along with the toilet paper. I already had a big pack of papertowels in my storage closet so I'm set for a while.

Sending DH by for our first CVS deal shop! I have question though.. How soon are the ECB bucks in your account to use. I thought I read they expire in 30 days but when do they become available to use. Thanks :)

The ECB's that you earn from buying certain items print out with your receipt at the time of purchase. They changed it from how it use to be and it makes it a lot easier.

Oh no now I will have to share with Carissa!!!!!!!!!!:lmao: :rotfl: :thumbsup2

Are the ECB's advertised in in the Extra Value Book only good for a certain week or can you get the ECBs any time during the month. Hope I made myself clear.:confused3

They should be good all month. But you are only able to do them once during the month. So the aquafresh advanced deal is 3 for the whole month of August.

OK another newbie question.. Are the deals at CVS ran monthly.. Can I go back and look at the deals for the whole month of August and then when September the ads start over and go for the month. I understand the limit of 1 on most of these items.. Do they wipe out the deals in August 31st and start the new ones for September. :)

:rotfl: I doubt it. I can't see myself making the drive (all of 10 minutes) to a 2nd store. Only once in a blue moon perhaps. I think YOUR store is safe ;)

Thank goodness! Saved by the drive.:rotfl: :rotfl: :cutie:

For example can I still buy this item even though it was posted on last weeks deals..
$2 ECB wyb Colgate Toothpaste (4 oz MaxFresh Burst, 4.2 oz Total Advanced Clean Plus Whitening) Limit 3 per card
:)

Deals that are posted as weekly deals (in each weeks thread) can only be purchased during that week. The colgate deal is over and cannot be gotten this week to get ECB's.

There is a Monthly booklet out that says August Monthly deals on it and those items can be purchased at any point during the month. Aquafresh Advanced is one of those monthly deals - free after ECB limit 3 per card, another is the One Touch Mini glucose monitor with the $10 ECB - monthly deal, limit 5 per card.

I think sometimes people confuse which deals are monthly and which ones are weekly. Usually the deals that are in the flyer are only a weekly deal while monthly deals (up till now) are minimally advertised and usually only advertised in the store. This is the 1st month that CVS has come out with a monthly booklet which my store displayed next to the weekly flyer.

Thank you Salley. The August deals were throwing me for a loop. I thought I had to wait for the week they were on sale. Do you know if they will a have monthly book out each month now?
