CVS ECB Deals - Sales for Week 6/29/08-7/5/08

So two $4.99 Coppertone Sticks counts towards the deal with $10 ECB back?

yes and at one store they did not have any of the sticks but they did have coupons for $1 off any coppertone product. I grabbed a few knowing I was going to another cvs . The second cvs had the sticks so I bought 2 at $4.99 used 2 dollar off coupons and got 10ecb so it was a money maker for me! My kids love that stuff.

okay--no time to read the whole thread today girls.............but!!! Is it in here thatif you buy 2 coppertone lipprotectors for $1.99 each you get the $10 ecb's back? That's a good one!!! $6.00 profit--more if you havea coupon which I did!!!:rotfl:

I just tried it and it opened okay for me. Maybe it was a temporary glitch?

It opened for me Lori

It opens for me using the link in both Internet Explorer and Firefox. Try typing in the address instead of using the link and see if you still get a blank page.

Maybe in your virus protection there is a setting that shuts off particular types of websites, but I don't know what any software would have against this one because it's just a page explaining how coupons are coded and a search box to enter coupon UPCs to see what products they are coded for. There's no pop-ups, two advertisements (BroadVoice and Yankee Candle).

Thanks Everyone...that is exactly what it was. I tried usuing my DH computer and it worked fine. I love all of you your so helpful here!:lovestruc

I just got back from an unsuccessful trip. I have a 4/20 coupon and was planning on getting the razor & cartridges and the coppertone. But the store was out of both.

Here is what I ended getting:

$1.98 - 2 CVS pantyliners
$2.98 - 2 CVS tampons

- $4.00 ECB
- $1.08 from gift card for over charge last week
$0.00 oop

As I'm looking at my receipt I got the $1.98 ECB from the pantyliners, but only $2.00 for the tampons. Shouldn't I have received a $2.98 from the monthly flyer? The receipt states CVS Tampons, But 1 Get 1.49 EB * Offer Limit Reached 2.

I compained to the store manager when the tampons only gave 1 ecb instead of 1.49. They gave me the credit on my next transaction.

I spent $2 today along with 3.49 in original ecb. Another 1.50 ecb for my Spring Spending. 2 transactions. I walked out of the store with:

2 diet dr. peppers in the 20 oz bottle
1 petroleum jelly (coupon for $2 off, free) 4 unscented Sure Solids (-1 coupon, b1g1 --x2) moneymaker
2 of those tampon sample packs
1 pantryliner
2 candybars (on sale for .50 ea)

MUST NOTE ON THE PET. JELLYY -- NO ECB PRINTED (reported on Iheartcvs that they would...they didn't for me)

now have $6 in ecb in hand (3 sure, 1 tampons, 1 panyliner, 1 dr. pepper). They expire July 31 :( It's too bad as I'm unimpressed free after ecb deals wish they expired in August.

I stopped at a CVS that is not one of my usuals on the way back from a client. They did not have the July flier out and the shelves were not marked for the July deals (June stuff was still out). Even some of the weekly deals were not marked yet. I was nervous about not getting the correct ECB's and having a problem, so I didn't buy anything. I figure I will wait til after work to hit one of my regular stores.

Has anyone figured out how to print the beauty handbook coupons. I tried the directions on iheartcvs and I can't get them to print right

/
here's what I did (pc user)

I clicked on the pic of the coupon I wanted to use.

right click on my mouse

chose copy

open a program that handles edit/paste (I used publisher, but I bet word would be okay too)

paste image (mine was the right size!) but you should be able to click on it and resize -- it think the alt button keeps everything in proportion.

hope it helps

To print I did a print peveiw then I reduced it to 70 percent then it printed fine.

It has been reported that the CVS cleansing towelettes(July monthly), which are supposed to give $1 ecb are actually giving $2.99 ecb. So, it is free after ecb. And if you use the $2 cvs skincare q from the beauty handbook, that makes it a moneymaker!!

Anyway, I just got back from my first trip this week and struck out on finding the coppertone lip protectors. Also could only find 1 water babies stick. Couldn't find the petroleum jelly either. But, that deal looks like a bust anyway. So no loss there.

I did get a good deal on Robitussin Cough & Cold syrup bonus pack. It was clearanced to 75% off making it $2.70. Plus I had a $3 off coupon. The coupon beeped, so they marked it down, so no overage. But, still it is free and makes a great filler.

So here is my trip today...

$2.70 Robitussin cough syrup
$2.69 Sure deodorant(this was a bonus pack...20% more)
$2.69 Sure deodorant(ditto)
$2.99 CVS Cleansing Towelettes
$2.99 CVS Cleansing Towelettes
$5.49 Softsoap Spa
$5.49 Softsoap Spa
$25.04 total

-$4.00 off $20
-$2.70 off Robitussin cough syrup
-$2.69 B1G1 free Sure deodorant q
-$2.00 CVS brand skincare
-$2.00 Softsoap q

$11.65 oop total. This is a brand new card, so no ecb's to use.

ecb's recvd
$5.98 CVS Cleansing Towelettes
$4.00 Softsoap
$3.00 Sure Deodorant

$12.98 ecb's recvd today
-11.65 oop total
-1.33 CVS basically paid me to buy all this stuff today.

I mistakenly thought the Softsoaps were B1G1 free. But it is only the regular bodywash and not the Spa brand that produces the ecb's.

This is what I've been doing for the beautyhandbook coupons (Vista):

  • Save file to my computer, by right-clicking on the coupon picture
  • Because it's a .jpg file, it opens with "Windows Photo Gallery"
  • Click "print" from within Windows Photo Gallery
  • UNCHECK the box that says "Fit Picture to Frame"
  • Select "5 x7 in. (2)" on the right-hand side
  • Change "copies of each picture" to 2
  • Press Print button

This way I get 2 nice size coupons.

At my store the tampons were 1.49 with $1 ECB back on the tag.

I got 2 Sures (2 x 2.89 = 5.78)
2 pantyliners (2 @ .99 = 1.98)

total = 7.76
BOGOfree Q for Sure - 2.89

total 4.87 (paid with ECB so no OOP) and got back $3 ECB for Sure and 1.98 for pantyliners so CVS paid me to take this stuf fout of the store today too! Also my spring spending printed also so thats another 2.50!

Alas, I thought I was onto something but I could only find one Coppertone stick!:sad2:

No lip balms or face sticks for me today. One store told me they have a sticker up for the lip balms but they never come in even though they order them every week.

Also my Sure deodrant BOGO Q was for MIR.

Oh well you can't win them all.

As far as face sticks and lip balms....NONE of my CVS stores carry these....EVER. Even when they're not on sale. This is something I would buy even when not on sale as we use it. Well none of the stores in town have any ever. I guess I'm exagerating, they do have the CVS brand face sticks but never any name brand face sticks.

And we're in FL, so they'd certainly sell plenty. I just can't figure it out.

wish i'd known about the cleansing cloths before I went today.

I've gone to 3 cvs stores and found no lipbalm. It's a big shame...that's something I would have loved to had!

I did get another SURE Deal (number 3 for me). ended up paying with 1.99 in ecb and had to pay .33 oop

Then I went to another cvs and used the 4 ecb I had on another card. got 2 tampons (only got 1 ecb instead of 1.49) and 1 pantyliner and petrolum jelly (with $2 off coupon)

$0 oop and given $2 ecb for tampons, .99 for panyliners, and 1.5 for spring spending. And I plan on calling about the tampon thing. (if I have time...) So I still have $4.5 in ecb.

THE  Funny thing is now I have to explain why i want all these feminine products to my 9 year old...she's asked twice!:rotfl:

I have to go back out later today, I may try the towlettes.

DOES ANYONE know what the $3 off any face care coupon can be used for? (printed on my receipt).

Went to a CVS that i never went to b4 and they had the coppertone sticks - actually lots of them - i got two 4.99 each and also cvs cough drops 75% off so .45cents!

I also got the cvs pantiliners and tampons and i only got a 1.00ecb for the tampon - not the 1.49 like the books shows But i am not going to call - maybe they'll get complaints and fix it - how can i call when i did not pay any cash................

lisa

oh the sticks were hanging w/all the suntan lotions - almost missed it as it was turned around -

OK, somebody tell me what a "cleansing towelette" is. Is it a flushable wipe kind of thing? Or is it a wash your face kind of thing? I'm clueless.:confused3

I was goong to call CVS about the Tampon deal but then on my slip it shows how they gave me the whole price on the wipes. So I did not want them to catch that.:rotfl2: I look at that I made out better this way

It's for makeup removal. So look in the cosmetics section.

I'm just starting to collect coupons again and went to CVS for my first trip. I bought two of the Coppertone Baby Sunscreen sticks at $4.99 and got $10 in ECB. I did not see anything about the panty liners, but will stop in again this week.
So, I have $10 in ECB + $.50 in ECB....let's see what happens next week! I hope I get lots of coupons this weekend!
