CVS ECB Deals - Sales for Week 10/5-10/11

Are there any $/$$ coupons out there? My 3/15's expired yesterday and I have so many deals I could use these with.

I was able to find the single packs of CVS beauty bars at two different stores, it's a penny overage after the ECBs.

I've just been doing the ECB thing since may and am totally addicted! :)

But I'm bummed that it took me soo long to get on the bandwagon, too :(

So kind of OT, but how long has the ECB program been available? Like what year did it start?

Anyone here that's done it since day one?

I'm not sure how long they've been doing the ECB program but I've been posting the weekly thread since Feb/March of 07

I tried to do the Spend $20, get $10 on Tylenol, etc.

I bought a Tylenol Express Gels for $6, Tylenol Sinus for $6 and the St. Joseph's aspirin. The aspirin was supposed to be $8. I used $4 in coupons and should have gotten $10 back BUT I looked at my receipt and the St. Joseph's rang up as $7.99. Has anyone ever argued for something ringing up below what it should? I feel a little ripped off. It's advertised on the hanging tag and in the circular for $8 but the computer has it rigged to ring up a penny short.

I have a question that is OT from this week's sales. Where does everyone get the $25 GC w/ prescription coupons? I thought of this last night because we got a letter that strep is going around in my DS's class. CVS is right across the street from the kids' doctor. I have never used CVS to fill prescriptions, but I would definitely give it a try.

As far as I know, there are two ways to get the coupons.

1) Occasionally there will be a coupon in (or wrapped around) the Sunday CVS ad in the newspaper.

2) Sometimes the magic coupon machine (or the CRT) bestows one upon you. But no one seems to know how, or when, or why. My only idea on that is that I have only ever gotten them at a newly open store, so maybe they are producing more coupons, hoping to build their customer base quickly.

I've never had a problem getting prescriptions filled there. Clean, quick, easy. Much better than Walgreens, at least around here (IL).

I just picked up my mail and I had a cardboard mailing from CVS that was addressed to me and said "Important: Most Flexible Spending Account withholdings will expire on 12/31/08." When I opened up the mailing, inside were 3 coupons: a 3/15 to be used in October; a 4/20 to be used in November; and a 5/30 to be used in December.

I do have a FSA and I have used the FSA debit card at CVS but I didn't think there was a way for them to know that I am using a FSA card because I run it through the machine just like a credit card.

I wonder if all ECC holders will receive this mailing or just those who use FSA cards.

I got a $25 gift card with prescription on my receipt last week when I went in to buy stuff. Used it today and got my gift card. I wish I could get another one as I have another script to fill. Anyone know of anymore coupon deals anywhere else for prescriptions?

Thanks, unfortunately I have never seen one in the Sunday ad or one print for me. Maybe I'll get lucky one of these days.

Do you have a Rite Aid near you. Right now they have 30 Gc with new RX and CVS will take their coupons. I have already done 120$ worth in the last month. I think the coupon is good until 10/31 and you can print them from coupons.com

just bought 6 of the Welch's Light - my store had 7 left - so i broke it up into 3 different transactions - at then end of the week i'll hit some other cvs's for them - they rang up 1.25 each got back the 3ecb's on each two so they paid me 1.50 to buy the 6 of them!

Y'know, when I read that message, and saw that you were in New York state, I remembered that there are some states where they are not allowed to give gift cards for prescriptions. I wonder if NY is one of them. That would be sad for you. :(

I read about this deal on hotcouponworld and have been to 3 different stores with no luck.

This is a really good deal especially if you're using the $1 off coupon in this past Sunday's paper. I have the coupon, just wish I could find the clearance juice!

Congrats on getting it!

P.S. Several folks on HCW also mentioned that their juice was expired. Please check it before you drink it!

Yes NY is one of them!!:sad2: Once I tried with a KMart c/o that was accidently published in our ad . They did give me $10 off but told me it is illegal to give gift cards for Rx in NY !!

I haven't been CVS'ing in a while, but I stopped in the other day and did the Tylenol product deal and then rolled my $10 into BOGO bags of KitKats for Halloween! I also did the 32oz VitaminWater with the ECB's back, too. I was happy with my haul!

Well, that is unfair. I wonder why in NY it is illegal. Thanks for the info. I appreciate it.

Yesterday, I was able to find the Welch's Light Juice. I bought 2 of them at 2.35 each and used 1 coupon. The store had one more left, but I won't get any more unless the go down to 75% off.

Has anyone found the Skin Vitals Treatment Mask? (a monthly)

I asked the clerk yesterday but she didn't even know where they were, and it was so busy in there that I just left.

Anyone know where it's supposed to be located?

I found them on a small hanging display in the skin care aisle at one CVS yesterday. They are small packets, maybe about 3 by 3 or 4 by 4.
