Does anyone know if Skin Vitals is a CVS brand? I was wondering if I could use the CVS skincare coupon on it? TIA

I got a few things today to use an ECB. I bought the vitamin water and didn't get any ECB's back on it. I don't know if it was because they were on sale or what. Anyone have the same problem with it?

Rachel

Did you get the 32 ouncer? I got it Sunday and my ECB printed...

I just realized I got the 20 oz vitamin water...duh! Probably go back and get the other one tomorrow. If I don't make it, it's ok.

I got a CRT from the coupon printer for $2 off any Speed Stick deodorant! I was so psyched. I hadn't purchased the Speed Stick on sale this week. And actually I wasnt gonna even though it was free after ECB's with the MFC. But instead with the CVS coupon I made $2 on it! I was so hoping to get the same coupon on DH's card but no. Oh well!

Hope someone else gets it!

Oh man. I found one of the Scrubbing Bubbles Toilet Cleaning Gels on clearance at the military Commissary today for $2.40! I had a $1 off any Scrubbing Bubbles coupon that they pushed thru for me but the $2 would have made this 40 cents. :thumbsup2

Thanks for the coupon link, Lanajae. :cool1:

So if the new sales start late Saturday, are their computers still set up to get the current sales that also end on Saturday?

In other words, are their computers able to process both the ending and beginning sales in the same transaction?

Hope someone knows! and TIA.

Please, doesn't anyone know? My store is always lacking price signs so its already hard to tell, and the clerks aren't the most helpful either at the register :( Would really appreciate any info anyone might have.

Technically you can shop for both weeks on Saturday, but it can be a huge pain.

One thing to watch for is that if something is on sale in the current week, the better of the two prices (not counting ECB earned) will overrule, so if something was on sale for even 1 cent less this week, but earns an ECB next week, you won't get the ECB on Saturday.

Each store "activates" next week's sale, some do it at noon, some in the afternoon and some don't do it until the evening. Good stores will tell you if you ask - a newer store here make a point to tell people that both sales are going and puts out both ads.

Another thing to consider is that if the ECB for tomorrow's sale doesn't print, you can't call Customer Service, so you have to straighten out your transaction in the store before you leave.

Also, when the Friday-Thursday test market ads were running, Saturday shopping wasn't working in all areas, even when the store said they had activated next week's deals, so there is some other type of corporate control in addition to the store's control.

I've never had a perfect Saturday/both ads transaction, something has always gone wrong.

Thanks for the reply, LanaJae. I just got back from my last CVS run on a saturday.

Everything you said above was true for me today. I even went to a store a bit further, my 'nicer' store  where the employees are usually nicer.

I won't go into all the gory details but I DID score one nice savings.

The colgate with ECB's were gone (naturally) but they had a huge tube of colgate max breath something or other marked 75% off at .82 so I bought it, used a .75 off coupon thinking it was a great deal. Little did I realize until just now that it was a GREAT deal because I STILL got back $2 in ECB!! ??? I'm shocked but GRATEFUL :) and it compensated somewhat for my frustration with everything else.

Again big thanks to you LanaJae and everyone for getting me started with CVS.

Sorry I didn't see your question earlier, but it's kind of one of those things you have to try out yourself - it took me several Saturday attempts to learn to stay out of the store on Saturdays :rotfl2:

There are two types of things I've learned never to buy on Saturday (based on Sunday's ad): Pepsi products or Coke products and M&Ms. They've consistently failed every time.

Great deal on the toothpaste - at least there was a silver lining!

I had the problem of not all the coupons printing, and of course when you try to print the ones that don't come out it tells you they already printed. It's so frustrating. I emailed them to let them know what happened.
